Beefsteak Tomato Harvest and Taste Test -- Kellogg's Breakfast, True Black Brandywine, Great White!
In 2024's tomato tasting series, we will be harvesting and taste testing three beafsteak tomatoes: Kellogg's Breakfast, True Black Brandywine, and Great White. We purposely chose a red, orange, and white tomato to see if there are any differences in taste (spoiler alert: yes).
There are tons of tomato varieties out there yet most of us have so little time (and space!) to plant them all. Hence, we'd like to share what we think the tomatoes taste like and how they might be best used, so that you can decide whether to plan these varieties or not.
Please let us know what you think of these tomato varieties and we'll keep tasting tomatoes!

Great review! Maybe it had an effect on the company as they've introduced a new large model that addresses some of your concerns. Just goes to show what happens when informed consumers hold these companies' feet to the fire. This now puts the Eglu at the top of my list (so far) in my preparation to purchase chickens next Spring. Also, I had not thought about the hole spacing of the wire enclosure. Here in Germany mice-r-us! Hardwire cloth would be mandatory. I used it on my diy coop when I was living in the American south, where the biggest concern was snakes, and it worked very well. Hi, can one run several cycles on that machine without resting it. I have a little Arcmira and I can only make one batch at a time.

I got a grandpa feeder because the rats make tunnels under the whole coop to reach the food. Also, they have new handle locks which are super easy!

Can you recommend a place to buy banana plants in SF Bay Area? Thank you! Seems they are not in stock at nurseries in early spring, late winter. I know Costco will carry them eventually. Nice channel! Thank you!

We’ve seen them at Home Depot’s in late spring and early summer. Hope this helps and thank you for the very kind words!!
