How many of us were thinking how many panels can we cut at one time my guess is three maybe 4 max but put a board below 4ft panel cut off doesn't fall too far but might be better .great job and we are so many grateful for folks out there going above and beyond for this project.

Thanks for the update Joe it's nice to hear that things are coming together. I have been curious about something maybe you have already talked about but when they were driving KIT off of the truck what was the process like? it seems that the car would need to be in neutral when it makes the transition from the ramp to the ground so would the just let it roll off then put it in drive?

I know this sounds like a weird idea, but for securing your KITT in the semi when traveling, may I suggest the idea of making the diamond plating that you plan on using the floor for KITT's parking area be something that you can move? I mean, if you're wanting it to look like it does in the show but still have access to the holes for transport, it'd make sense to have the diamond panels able to be moveable. That way, whenever you reach whatever destination you go to, you can pull KITT out, place the diamond plating into place, secure it and make it look like it does in the show without having to cut holes in it. But, that's just a suggestion and I know it would be easier to just go ahead and secure the diamond plating.

Awesome job on finding the information on the first GMC General from Knight Rider. I'm curious and interested to know, is the "original" factory paint scheme and color "Cream" or a "Yellow"? Just thought I'd ask. And if it is "Cream", what shade of Cream is it? Or Yellow. Please, Thank you and keep up the awesome work on restoring the General from seasons 3 as 4.

One suggestion on your cutting jig, I’d put a hinge on one side of your clamping board so that you only have to clamp one side. It would save you time from walking around from side to side, making the process much quicker

Joe, when you get the fuel pump installed and the General running again, you should do a clip for your video of backing the General up to the trailer to do a mockup of them "uknighted" once again, that would be cool to see.

Joe, Did you see on the GM authority, they had an official kitt hero car for sale for $150,000. It has hasselhoff and barrises signature on it

Thank you unspeakably much, for ressurecting my childhood. Finding the cab was one thing. Finding that trailer blew my mind. This is all so amazing.

I thinks one of the computers in the trailer should permanently display "Thanks Irving!"

The new shirt/sweatshirt design will make a nice poster. Good idea of the series name from other countries. It's sometimes to easy to forget that Knight Rider, and other shows, did air in other countries.

Joe, I know you said the exact panels were readily available in Europe. What is the difference between what you have and those panels? I did a count of the of the slats between the Vertical black posts in the Set photo. I counted 15 assuming the black posts sit in front the panels.This would indicate the spacing between the black posts to be 5 feet x 4 sections being (20 ft). Is this what you meant by scaling it down to be 16 ft which is 12 slats between black posts?

Funny guy. First time ever pronouncing Finnish words and he says: "I'm not sure I pronounced that right". I'm pretty sure anyone can bet their life that they aint gonna get foreign language pronunciation right on a first try with no reference. Even the people who speak the native languages have different pronunciations due to different regions and dialects. Anyway, nice shirt, love the project.

Oh yes now we're talking, great stuff joe, the finished semi is gonna look amazing, cant wait to see kitt drive into that semi once again like back in the 80s

Oh wonderful!!! I'm really getting excited too. Each passing video update on this project brings the excitement. I'm also blown away by the kindness and generous help from people out there for this. 2:34 I'm not sure The Netherlands one is right 😅 I've seen it called "De Ridder" in a google search but also just Knight Rider. Netherlands picks up UK TV so they all speak English by watching the BBC 🙃

I think you're right that the corrugated panels look slightly too white/light. At 4:30 the originals look a little metallic, maybe a silver grey colour?

These videos would be interesting but you make them so fecking boring! Get a better video Editor!
