I really love this car, unfortunately, they never made automatic transmission on this model.
I guess this is not original color, because I saw another '56 Bel-Air convertible that said there was only one built that wasn't a two-tone...and it was silver...don't know if that's true...

My absolute favorite classic car.
Are they easy to restore ? Or costly because these guys are a bit too complicated for there time.
I bought this car in 2016. The new seller used this video to sell it...but the car did not look like this when i got it and needed 5k ( new trans, gas line leaking, rims nowhere near this condition, among other things ) Don't judge a book by it's cover. Make sure you get current videos & images on whatever you buy. Or fly out to see it...unlike what I did. Lesson learned.

tjhe engine by itself is OK, probably that the valve lash is adjusted too loose.

Diesen Typ gab es mit Halbautomatik (Hydrak) also mit Schaltung - aber ohne Kupplung ! Man konnte im 2. Gang problemlos anfahren. (nur nicht bei starken Steigungen)
Nice car. Shame it's led the life of a pampered 'trailer queen'. A Porsche without visible stone chips and worn tires has simply not been driven correctly. Shameful indeed.
