I never missed one video of yours, the food you made for your family looks very delicious and healthy, you are blessed to have an extraordinary talent, thanks for sharing your life with us
Should handle the plow with no problems.
Spectacular!!! "John Deere 730"!!!!👍👏💪💚💛🇺🇸
pure Loyalty from that 1086 is what you get in return
I remember gettn scolded by grandpa for bending those steps on a stump. 856 was our biggest, also worked a 656, a 560 and a 400. My great grandpa bought them all brand new to work our 189 acre farm in Illinois. Which we lost thanks to Obama, still got the tractors though.
Hell we pulled 3 bottom with a 504 and 5 bottom with the 856.
Ah yours has a TA
First tractor I ever worked with pulling a 3 bottom flip over International plow.
How many acres does the tractor work on?
Any 2 cylinder JD sounds great to me.
Amen
How do you like the 455? Is that a cropcutter model? Pickup clog? We have a 454 we put 3k bakes thru a year looking at getting a 455 thx!
Great baler! We love it
It looks nice! Did you get rid of the 1086?
Couldn’t get rid of the 1086!! We put it on the New Holland discbine duty now. The 686 did get traded in though on the Magnum.
Some nice weather for making hay.
Nice machine. Can you help me fix the shift linkage on my 856?
Nice Tractor!
Yeah that is pretty good
I am looking at buying a John Deere B with cultivators for our farm. Do you have yours set to 30"?
they are good balers l had one.
We have a melroe plow similar to yours. They do a nice job but pull hard as heck.
Awesome job?!!!!
Come on, I'd be ashamed at leaving all that rubbish showing, let alone showing it to the world in a video!
Ok thanks for the tip
Show us how to do it better then
Nice dirt. Where I grew up, Deere guys would buy IH plows, and it wasn't uncommon for IH guys to buy Oliver plows (I'm assuming that's an ollie plow design). Not sure if I remember any deere owners with ollie plows, but I'm sure there were some. My die-hard grandfather (deere buyer) had an IH plow and painted it green. If he didn't have a deere plow, it was for a reason.
This must be a 730 gas?
Yep it’s a gasser
Willmar? I drive through there all the time to deliver fire wood, nice!
Plowing - I remember when that was a thing...
I love the sound of a straight pipe on a 4 cylinder tractor, but much prefer the sound of a 2 cylinder John Deere with it’s muffler installed.
Great Vidya, keep em coming!
😭😭😭😭😭 Buick LeSabre
Wow
Incredible rig 😯
I could listen to that all day long
Definitely!!
Hello! Really like your videos but they aren't long enough. How many shanks does that chisel plow have? Are you doing all your farming with this older equipment? Do you mind telling how many acres you farm and where you are located? Love your smart choice of equipment and your farming methods! Thanks for sharing!!
Beautiful soil! How heavy is it that it requires a 4 bottom moldboard plow behind a 1086? Ours pulls a 5-16" IH moldboard plow up and down terrain with fairly heavy soil without any problem. Your 1086 and the plow are IMMACULATE, by the way.
Put a turbo on it, and hook to a 5 bottom, with a left duel....
I used to work at an IH dealership and turboing it is just asking for rear end trouble. The larger 66 and 86 series were not great the way they came out from the factory. They didn't really have a bullet proof rear end and transmission until the Magnums. Then they were golden!
It can handle 5 bottoms
Awesome sound!! 😁👍
Do you still have the other 1086?
Traded it for this one
Northern Iowa apparently, traded into Arnold’s Case IH in Alden MN
Where did that tractor come from
nice :)
Good ol machines
Is the 856 top link draft sensing?
Daniel Edwards , no it has a quick hitch on the tractor
The draft sensing is through the lower hitch links. Hollow cross tube with a torsion bar inside of it. An arm on the tube moves internal linkage to raise the hitch a bit under heavy pull.
You might clear the debris in front of the radiator.
music to my ears
So awesome
If that's high speed hate to see low speed
Ever see how an F20 or Super M plowed?
Having trouble with unit not grabbing strings anyone have an answer? Text 7152181920
Dan, Have you taken the belt off. Tripped it manually. Have someone turn it by hand. Watch what it's doing.
They're the best of the two cylinders sound wise. Butch 6 and 1/2 mile an hour on the road. They're good in the field plenty of power. Not very fast moving farm the farm. That's their only weakness. Have a 40 unstyled g myself. Love them. Nice video.
love those older machines
Ive got an uncle that has an old 856 Fixed the cab up and evrrything Its a really nice tractor
High speed plowing? Just Looks like regular plowing to me.
Faster than the old days.
