When i was researching catnip a few years ago i found it interesting that cats get high but it only lasts about 20 min. Then they can not get high for another 20 min. Also that not all cats respond to catnip. I think it is about 70% do. Also that some get high from sniffing and some get high from eating it. i believe the high might be slightly different. I suppose it just depends on the cat. The other interesting factoid that i discovered was that catnip is part of the mint family. I love that cats love this stuff. they are so funny when on the nip! :)
