Sliding down a rope seems like a fine use for acrobatics to me, you don't need a lot of strength to just slow your fall. EDIT: Does this DM seriously make them make 2 climb checks to climb *down* 10 feet?

This is simply for new GMs and players. This is not meant to be a dig on the fast action play of this episode or the GM calls. The RAW allows for all sorts of adjustments per GM, but it’s unclear whether that is happening or simply missed. PF2E is tactically a challenging system (in a good way), but as others have pointed out if one does not hold to the three action economy it gets easy quickly. 1) Before battle not every player was able to clarify what was in their hands or what they were doing prior to the attack. 2) Delay is a free action. It allows the player to re-enter by choice after any turn in the current round or they just start in their normal spot next round. The point of this is for high perceptive characters to use tactics and observe before acting (eg a Rogue who wants to sneak attack or a cleric who wants to heal after others have taken turns) 3) Gristle took 5-6 actions on her turn. Draw, Move, Power Attack(2), Intimidating Strike (2) 4) Ingot should get +1 from Gristle for light cover this was the players intent and should be recognized even with a fire spell 5) usually any actor higher in initiative at a start of an encounter would not be off guard to someone lower even if that person rolled stealth 6) if an actor takes cover or is undetected or hidden flat checks and DC have to be adjusted even if two actors are both hiding and their is nothing called “hidden in plain sight” so they’d have some cover until they attack or until they take cover and hide again. 7) Point Out is an action. You can’t pick up weapon, move, seek and point out that would be four actions plus two handed weapons require two hands and it’s an interact to change grip. They do more damage so this is the trade off in the action economy 8) Ingot moved, took cover and then casted a bunch. Move and take cover is already two actions. Unless it’s just move and light cover bc he didn’t want to take cover. 9) Bonuses: you can only have one type of bonus, Ward is “status,” but shield and cover is “circumstance” 10) Ward does not work the way it is played in this game, it can be sustained but it is for one creature and one ally only and they both have to be specific All good and this is fun and I’m grateful for the show but just sharing for newer folks

Unconscious “panther” would have a -4AC and reflex saves and prone by RAW so a CS is nearly the outcome but just helping new players and GMs

I understand why you switsched to 3 part adventure paths..... but I truly miss the 6 parters. Specialy with War of the Immortals comming up. It would be Ideal for a 6 part adventure path. But I have to take what I get I guess

Just for new players or new GM, you cannot carry over actions (eg spells that cost 3), this is part of the difficulty of the game. I’d perhaps make a single exception for players in media res who wanted to introduce the level up in the game, which I like but it would be good for the GM to state that so new players understand it.

The Sandpoint has its own Jersey Devil is more than enough for me to wanna run this.

Boo! I love the 6 part adventure paths. I love a whole continuous story from 1-20 that doesn’t involve me having to patch threads together to connect unrelated adventures. The 6 parters 1-20 are literally what separate y’all’s Adventures from other companies. Very disappointed.

I'm hoping xenometric androids are coming back. Wanted a xenometric-skittermander android for a while.

I find it odd they call the dragonblood "Arcane Dragonblood" if they use one of the four types of magic traditions. Maybe they will drop the word arcane in the name, seems to make far more sense. I created a dragonfolk for my world because of the gap left in the game. My dragonfolk sound nearly identical to the dragonblood with the exception that dragonfolk are not a versatile ancestry, but rather simply one of their own, such as dwarf or elf. I may end up tossing my dragonfolk in the garbage when the book comes out since Player Core 2 will have covered this gap in the game.

I haven't tried the adventure itself yet, but after watching all the trailers, I can say that this trailer is the most intriguing and interesting!

I'm disappointed in the loss of the 6-part adventure paths. I have some groups that love being able to focus and follow a story that takes them from the streets to the pinnacles. While I understand adapting for people with less time and who don't want so big a commitment, I hope that we get some APs that have easy links between them. That way we can get a full story without saying "Hey, we've just taken down the Gauntlight and saved Absolom. Let's go across the world to join a martial arts competition!" I also understand the need to change things up and I'm willing to pause a campaign and wait for a later AP to finish it out.

Paizo I love your work and want to say a big thank you for all your hard work and efforts you put into Pathfinder remastered. Can’t wait for player core 2 and my favourite class the sorcerer.

For the last nearly 15 years, I've run one and sometimes two simultaneous campaigns that are usually three years in length, presuming no TPK-enders. The 1E model for APs fit this well, and I bought all the stuff you guys kicked out even if I wasn't sure it would get played. Such great content! Some of it has been the foundation for the best gaming me and my players have experienced across many decades of systems and play. Thanks for that! While I like 2nd edition's system, 2E's APs, 3-module formats and setting alterations have been less interesting. I've stopped running any of it (except a heavily modified version of 2E's Kingmaker -- thanks JJ!), though I'd really like to say otherwise. Needless to say, I'm not a fan of these changes. (Also, on an unrelated note, shame on you all for getting rid of alignment. Blasphemy! I only half-joke.) However, I have numerous players who think Hell's Rebels is the greatest campaign they've ever played, so I am happy to see Richard Pett on board for Stage Fright! You need to bring back more of those rock stars like Crystal Frasier and Wes Schneider, too! Seriously!
