Grace VanderWaal premiered her third original song to be revealed during the 2019 "Ur So Beautiful" tour at Washington's in Fort Collins, CO, on Sept 2, 2019. The title of the song is "Poser"; it speaks of differing expectations of what the relationship between the protagonists might be, and the feeling of being abused.

Especially the lyrics of the outro have proven to be a hard nut to crack. I have updated them now with the clearer text from the studio version. However, the ending of that edition is extended; so I'm still not entirely sure if that is what she actually sang on the tour.
No good quality material is available to me from the premiere, so I relied on the following sources:

Sound was absolutely horrible. Couldn't hear anything she sang. It ruined a great rock song of the 60's, and turned it into a dog's dinner. I was 15 y.o. in 1968 when the Turtles released "Elenore." It went Platinum for them, like several other songs they released in the late 60's and early 70's.
You must have hearing problems, I was there and she sounds great and I"ll take Grace over the original.
After all your technical excuses On this particular performance , there is no voice , she didn't have it ! Mark Volman at 90 yrs old was still rocking with horrible equipment This was an embarrassing performance !
Stop being ignorant. It's the cellphone recording, not the performance itself. In person, she sounds perfectly clear. If the person recording was further back in the audience, the small microphone would have been able to process the audio better.
I just came back to this cover after running across the original , great song , but I can't stand the original 60's sound , their voices are too cheesy for me , I'll take this less than perfect recording and Grace singing any day .

Yes, a happy song, she's awesome, but truthfully it would have been great if it had harmonies on the choruses. That song comes from r&b roots of the 60s and 70s. Like it is designed to have harmonies.
