Thank you very much! Yea I agree on that, it really looks terrible. I actually managed to scratch that logo with a 1mm pick and in my case, it didn't harm the body in any way. Just be sure to scratch it lightly, it may take some time. Enjoy your hofner!

Hey, what are those strings that are you using?
Actually they are the mix of tapewounds and flatwound strings lol. Unfortunately, I broke the G string due to the hofner's scale size as the string is supposed to be used on a normal scale bass guitars. The similar case happened to the low E string. I used that for 2 months but after that the string broke from the tuning peg. So I decided to put on D'addario's tapewound G and E string on my hofner bass and kept the A and D Fender flatwounds. Honestly, it is better than nothing but Im still aware that I gotta switch to a new set of short scale flats!
