Even though the caste system is legally abolished nowadays, people experience discrimination in many parts of their daily lives. However, more and more people are becoming active against caste discrimination in their villages like Moyal, Bajhang. This is their story.

In 2004, during the civil war, GIZ began to work in the heartland of the Maoist insurgency the mid western districts of Rukum and Rolpa. The project Rehabilitation and Reconstruction (ReRe) ran until 2010. Since 2009 the project Improvement of Livelihoods in Rural Areas (ILRA) accompanies the people in Bajhang and Baitadi on their way towards a life without violence, hunger and discrimination.

God made Men, Men made Hindu religion....upper castes and lower castes. Hinduism is against humanity and socially divides people of same religion.

This is Superstitious beliefs so should be stopped from the root level. This is due to lack of education and knowledge. It's like listening their words feel like it's not necessary to be like this practices in Nepal. But the word Dalit is unnecessarily kept by unnecessary people politicians of that time made different oppressing names and this was the root cause. Stop making divisions we all are same Human love world and respect each and everyone in this world. Unity is peace.

Dalits need to practise Total Vegetarianism.... Vegetarianism is food for Humans... Because Humans can grow the food.... God has given that much intelligence to Humans only.... So You start to love all animals.... All animals want to live... Remove/stop discrimination with animals.... For self protection you can kill, if any animal is going to harm or kill you... But not for eating...
