Nice explanation of water inlet valve, I recently have it replaced my 3 day old machine and about to disassemble and see how it works. Now since you showed me how it works, now I can find what went wrong 🤓

My washing machine has warranty and they tried to charge me $120 to unclog my machine. I’m attempting this tonight. Wish me luck. I’ll update my comment to let you know if it worked!

Bloody awesome! Both springs went thus morning while I had the door open waiting for kettle to boil to make a cuppa tea. They went off with a bang and didn't know what the hell the noise was till I tried to close the door. Cheers heaps mate from Australia!

Thanks for this video of the HP WM w/m ! You're the the only one giving good practical help on the older WM models. Also the door outer securing band on these models is entirely different to the later WMA models, and this video helped me understand and remove it.👍

I've just opend up my pump/impellor, there's nothing stuck anywhere that would explain my machine quitting at drainage stage (tested on spin with filter out etc too, definitely spins fine), what else can i try? do i need a new pump anyway? i'm thinking of putting it all back together and running a high temp wash? and have the drain hose striaght out the back into a tub.. but i did have it like this just for spin cycle to check impellor spinning correctly (it was) and the machine started clicking through the dial options after 30secs rather than finishing the spin cycle..

Excellent video. Did mine but that pulley bolt was bonded in (WMA34). 300NM impact wouldn't shift it and broke the bolt! Still, I ploughed on and drilled it out...found another stainless steel bolt and cut to size.

Is it possible to manually calibrate this style of thermostat? Does the control switch mechanism have a calibration/adjustment screw?
