PSA AK101 Sent, repair, replaced...fixed? (Quick snippet)
So this is shooting less than 100 rounds on the Palmetto State Armory AK101 in 5.56.
While having ALOT of issues on the first rifle, sent back for repairs...PSA sent back a NEW rifle.
Took me about 8 months to go and shoot at the range...well we experienced some issues, several failures to eject as well as one bullet casing becoming stuck in the chamber.
Maybe this was not part of the the updated batch...so far it's been 0-4 for PSA
Looking at either a bad firing pin possibly now...or bad ammo? Please leave comments below so we can figure out this together.

PSA Palmetto State Armory AK101 5.56 300 rd review
zhlédnutí 11KPřed rokem
Sharing with online community PSA #palmettostatearmory AK101 review of under 300 rounds due to multiple issues with the rifle. Based on various reports online I thought the failure to feed and failure to extract was due to it being undergassed, however I think I may have found the culprit Used under 300 rounds, mostly brass from various manufacturers. Used only 20 rounds of steel. CZcams user w...

Any updates now about this engine and super tech oil?
not bad at all supertech motor oil I used my in my Mitsubishi outlander, super happy with it and satisfied using the HighMileage synthetic one
Where to buy fake one? Amd how mich is it?
Aliexpress
I use Super Tech & Fram TG filters, that will drive the know-it-alls crazy.
Let’s just say you keep a car from 10 miles to 250,000 and change the oil every 3500 miles. That’s roughly 71 oil changes. Would you rather spend around 2k using a good store brand oil or spend 4k + using brand name. I’ll go with the store brand. My opinion is what it is and I think the oil filter is the one to spend money on between the two.
Oooof that’s bad
Clean machine! Mine get 3000 mile or 6 month change! All clean too!
Dose it protect you from a c4?
Nothing does. Go and ask EOD lol
@@Nperez1986 ik lol I was js joking
I have this same setup on my Altima previous owner did it but I can’t find the right rotors for it. I’ve tried brembo 350z rotors but they touch the top of the caliper could I use the 12.6 rotors ?
So I used EVO rotors, they are slightly smaller,
Can you upload a comparison between the two? Would be interesting to see how to Chinese one differ in terms of material quality, stitching etc
I think that is a great idea..I plan to do IR signature difference at night. Honestly tjr Chinese fake one served me well for my MilSims just fine 🙂
both are probably made in the same factory
Just order from agilite themselves?
you can or from online retailers like US Patriot
He flipped the gas tube lever up look closely
It doesn't move by just touching it. I take it you have neve disassembled a real AK....they take literally hammering to get to move lol.
What kind of symptoms were you getting? Did this fix it? I've seen some talk about this code being thrown because of the camshaft sensors, but I've already replaced those.
Sieg Zeon!!
I've replaced both camshaft sensors, but I'm still getting P0365. What do you think could be the issue? (2006 Honda Accord)
you might have to do a camshaft sensor relearn, i had to do it for my crank position sensor.
@@ChappiegotBlingz what’s the heck is a camshaft sensor relearn? 😆

Did you ever figure it out?
@@1chip4youno but I just purchased a crankshaft sensor. I let you know how it goes
Which one you replaced, Intake or Exhaust?
both
@@Nperez1986 which side is the intake?
Omg there’s fakes being sold? Please elaborate they’re sold by LE stores & have the same company name & markings?
No way! OMG there is Google! I'm not a paid person by Agilite nor you, so I'll only do such a thing when it's in my interest of time. I'm sure you know how to find Chinese copies
Purchased mine from eBay because agilite was out of stock for a long time… fake???? I knew you have to beware with sneakers and stuff but how does one tell if the carrier is fake?? Other than color?
Agilite has a small tag with the scorpion logo on the inside
Will it do the same thing? YES. All plate carriers are just that, plate carriers. They will differ slightly in connectors. etc. What i found what matters if you are going to use it at night, if the material is IR reflective
What all was done by psa ? Main thing here is can we see the wear on the bolt feed ramp? From what I’ve heard they need to polish the feed ramps
Hey sorry to bother you about this but I’m hoping you can tell me where you got the caliper? If you have a part number or something. Thanks so much
RockAuto. Look up thr 2015 370z Nismo...it'll be these Akebonos, remanufactured
@@Nperez1986 Would you know if the SER rims would clear? I heard that the balancing weights get in the way but that was with the Autosports adapter
Can you compare them without pouches? Do they really differ?
So I plan to do a NVG IR comparison...I found a surprising result when comparing the Israeli made Agilite vs even other countries counterparts
Could I have the brand of tri magpouch you have there? On the K19 real one. It's looked pretty decent
This 🤡 Firearms is not for you buddy, stay at your patents basement. There is zero wear on trunnion or bolt
both methods will work scraping off the rust and the soldering one in my case I Hope this helps, I had the same exact problem on my 540i E39 on my passenger side tail light every light would work but one, my turn signal would not blink , I tried switching sockets from my working tail light to the non working one and no cigar, A Friend of mine tested the board on the tail light with some alligator connectors and a small battery all lights worked so that told me that she board is good ,I noticed the same corrosion on some prongs what I did , I wrapped a butter knife with a piece of paper towel and sprayed PB Blaster inside the tail light connector I let it soak for about 2 mins all You do is rub the connectors with the knife and towel until it looks clean kinda silver looking again , just repeat as needed Pb blaster brakes off rust that did the trick for me .
I changed way less parts on my 2006 Altima than on my 1990 Accord, so I would not say Nissans quality has gone down since 2000.
Since Nissan merged with Renualt...it did. The golden era was the 1990s but Nissan was overspending on production and about to go bankrupt, so they merged and cost alot of costs down in their production. Honda Motors are much more reliable than Nissans...and I'm a Nissan fan of still 😀
is that a tacticon armament
The fake one?, The real one is a Agilite K19
@@Nperez1986 I notice they looked similar to k19
@@d1909a AliExpress special. If any company has this exact one its just a Chinese Copy
@@d1909a Maybe they sell it as such ..got the fake one off AliExpress

Hello thanks for the video. Any updates? What did PSA say? Thanks.
PSA Is fine..but get a WBP 1200 RNDS NO issuses🎉
PSA is not "fine"...it's good enough...well not really since it can't even build a standard AK to spec in terms of the metals used sadly. I just tell folks buy an imported 5.56 AK and you'll be fine
My Mak-90 from 1992 has less wear
i have a 95 Civic coupe but can’t find anyone competent to work or rebuild the ABS. i’m in SF Bay Area. do you know anyone that could help?
What Web site I can find the best Vvt Solenoid for my car V6 engine

Send it back the extractor cut on the barrel is wrong.
No update. Reveals alot about this guy that yells fire
Lol, l'm in the military thus I don't have free time and choose to use what limited time I have with other things more important to me in life than making you feel better. 😄 If you use your brain and read, you can read the updates. GL in life
He literally sent it back and continued to have issues, so had to send it back again. If that isn't all you need to know, then you are just a braindead PSA coper looking to justify your garbage purchase
So if it has a 7 on the bolt it’s considered OEM part?
The OEM bolts will have certain symbols, dead giveaways if they are the actual OEM part vs an aftermarket part. When you see them so often you will be able to identify them very quickly
Using garbage steel case ammo is the problem. 556 is best in brass. This ain't 7.62 AKm. People with no AK knowledge talking crap on PSA are the worst 🤮
For those with short attention span we shot Brass all day and it still malfunctioned.. I can shoot steel 5.56 in my other AK all day long. PSA is a range toy and not a really a combat ready rifle. 🙃
Thanks.
In what order do the 2011 Nissan quest speed sensor harness cables go
I love PSA for what they are doing. I have a GF3 that has been flawless, and a 103 I had a small issue with that my local gun Smith took care of for me (bad head space) if they can get that QC to 100% they will be unstoppable.
Ck the chamber for concentric rings if they are present this is from the machine process when brass swells it can prevent it ejecting I have been able to correct it by polishing it with flitz metal polish and a power drill
I already received a whole new rifle from PSA, pending testing on that one. Doing modification on their products may fix, may not, and may also void their warranty, so I don't mind sending it back in the mean time
what's your email
Hi Mate. I have a jammed Actuator and a non functioning solenoid any advise, could you supply these parts. I can send you pictures
Hi Mate, Is there a kit to service the Modulator, or just change the O rings for like for like rubbers
There are o ring kits to replace all the O rings on the ALB, they are about $60 on ebay on average depending on the model Honda/Acura you have
1:00 You used what? 😂
AC Unity magazines, the ones that come with Palmetto State AKs...they try to BS you and say to ONLY use a certain mag. I never found this an issue on any AKs until I ran PSA AKs sadly...they just had a bad overall tolerance
I am gonna be getting PSA 102 next
i know its been 4 months since a review but in hindsight i been debating between the Ak101/102 From Palmetto or the AOA FB Radom beryl's any advice which to pick? is the 101 worth it?
Get the PSA, you get a lifetime warranty, and they stick behind it. Polish Rafoms I've never dealt with. I've used primarily Romanian and Yugo AKs
ugh. thanks for sharing
