We never went to a market when we were in Mexico but it seems most countries outside of North America still have these types of markets. Just imagine the cost savings buying here for Baco!

He wasn't begging or bothering us, he was sitting there quietly and our 17 year old son felt in his heart like giving him a small amount of change since he felt bad for the old man who was missing limbs. We were very touched that our son took it upon himself to want to perform such a nice gesture to the man out of love and compassion. You know nothing about that man, therefore you have absolutely NO right to say what type of person he is or where he is from, unless you know it as an actual fact. Also, do not try and tell us what to to with our money if something is placed on our hearts, it shows that you have very bad character. Mind your own business, please.

@bioninaviva maybe true for some but this was an old man in a local market, if they were wanting to make money they would be where more tourists are or places like Jodd fair or chatuchak, no Khlong Toei.

​@bioninaviva It doesn't matter. It was only 20 Baht and was a random act of kindness that made our son feel good in his heart. The world needs more people like that, helping each other out. Not every beggar is a "gangster" and from the same place. Some are legitimately in rough situations and need to eat.

When we lived in Costa Rica, the first 3 years our boys were in a private international school and the last 4 years we had them doing online school. It's personal preference and you ultimately have to do what's best for you as a family.

The one we had in CR definitely wasn't. I think they tried to trick us like we mentioned, by putting that brown raw sugar in water and selling it on the side of the road and calling it "Jugo de Caña". Terrible!

That's good yours was squeezed fresh, mine definitely was not and just tasted like the compressed sugar you can buy at the super and then mixed with water, plus it we very brown looking. It's definitely much more refreshing squeezed like this

@@TheDufresnes maybe it was agua dulce? You can search up "agua dulce Costa Rica" it's made from unrefined cane sugar, and it's brown. It's a different taste and preparation but it's still from the sugar cane.

Thanks dork! Most stuff was fresh yes but there was a lot that wasn't like the dried squid and Shrimp which now for your sarcastic comment you're going to be forced to eat on your channel. Then we can ask you how unfresh it is. Oh and all the fruits, vegetables, and meat was fresh. Even the freshly squeezed sugarcane juice was fresh. Oh thr other thing that wasn't fresh was our clothes after walking through there.
