From the film, 'Conquest of Paradise', this instrumental piece I think is just profoundly beautiful. The title of this piece is called "Eternity", which I think is a very suitable title based on how this was composed.

I must say this piece really captivates and moves me unlike many other instrumentals out there. It is so profound, beautiful yet sad, but in all it is just a magnificent piece of instrumentation by Vangelis. I am definitely intrigued by this piece, composed by Patrick O'Hearn. The flugel horn is very captivating, and the atmosphere reminds me of the film featuring Harrison Ford, Blade Runner. I can just see Deckard (main character in Blade Runner) peering from high above the street on the balcony, with a glass of whiskey. Is it wrong that I like this more than Thunderball?
Actually, both films are great! I think "Hijacking a Vulcan bomber"(Thunderball 1965) & "Stealing 2 thermonuclear warheads"(NSNA 1983) are both perfectly staged tense scenes! And although NSNA(1983) is a pretty funny movie, it has a serious Cold War vibe though. NSNA(1983), for me, is a much better movie than DAF(1971), LALD(1973), TMWTGG(1974) and all Daniel Craig movies! ***** Sean Connery: what a charming gentleman agent in NSNA, even at the age of 53! Actually, I like older Roger Moore too(Octopussy, AVTAK)! Great joke in NSNA: "Well, to be perfectly honest, there was this girl in Philadelphia!".
