Is this lineup made in Japan or china ?

I got the Ball Knock Zone recently and I was disappointed. While the pen itself looks better than the cheap ball "clicker" and the one with the cap, it isn't nearly as nice looking as the Point Knock 04 (and costs a lot more!). The Point Knock has better weight distribution, is slimmer, has a sleeker looking and feeling upper, plus a metal tip, which makes it a much better experience in the hand. About the only improvement the Zone has that I enjoy is the clip, because they've made mechanical changes so the rattle is almost nil. While the 05 black ink may be a bit darker, especially compared to the 04 in the Point Knock, it's not that much darker when compared to the 07 refills. So for me the Point Knock is still the clear winner. Sadly, I believe it's been discontinued, so I hope the next release has more of the Point Knock's features.

Have you tried the new Fluoro ones? I’m not usually a fan of fluoro colours but apart from the yellow. They don’t seem too fluorescent. I’d not can you do a video please?

Is the new version made in Japan ? My packaging says china but I’m not sure if for the pen or ink or something else when I translate the Japanese instructions it doesn’t say china at all only the English part

Question (and Thanks ☺️) - Thoughts vs Feelings vs Facts // How do I honor realities and facts as part of feelings vs thoughts? One of the things you helped me learn is that even w a fact, say, “being unemployed” is what it is and it is a current reality. That fact fits my feelings of exposed/vulnerable/nervous. But what was helpful was the inherent “ownership” of our thoughts based on the facts that possibilities and other thoughts are a choice to think that way. I once heard that “compassion” is a choice and this video was spot on and example of that. Appreciate it. -Jarrod from Seattle

I wish I had seen this before ordering the double and realizing it was NOT set up the same just with an extra zip on back with another storage space. I don’t like the way the double is set up, I wanted it to be just like the single set up inside its first zip and then another row of pens and another row of pockets in the back zip. That would be much more useful for so many of us

Do you know if the frixion knock zone can be used to write on a rocketbook? I really want the darker ink for my notes since the scans with the standard ink aren't dark enough to my liking.

If only there was a company that made custom grips for these I hate how they look but the system in them is just so much better than their cooler looking cousin the kurutoga roulette😭

Drooling over your master swatch pages! Fun thing I learned about uniball one - whatever gel suspension medium they use to enclose the ink in the barrel is super clear! Usually, I see it cloudy/yellowed. It was an exciting discovery for me. 😄

The colors are beautiful. I had hoped for a green in there, but ah well. I am interested in the spreadsheet.

I'm from India and I ordered this pen from Amazon , it's not available in most of the stationery shops here so even the refill is not available here , will the uniball click gel's refill fit into this pen ?

I love the book style ones but the interior colour choice is just unforgivable why that colour 😭😭😭

Years later and I'm having to buy them off of Aliexpress 😭😭😭😭😭 which I knew you're wonderful buisness years ago! Black is basically sold forever now.

I was not bothered by the black ink I understood the trade off and honestly I only use Friction when I wanna erase and I didn't mind the colors being a little faded. HOWEVER, the new barrels are soooo much nicer and more professional and I really love them. I am not sure why pilot went for the metal refill though. The Friction is already so expensive and now upping the price even more for a meta refill seems unnecessary to me.

For me, the old version (brass) is better than the renewal version (aluminium), a bit heavier but better when writing. Still the best low centre gravity pen that i've tried was uniball one f with stabilizer in it, hope they make the metal version of it.

I wouldn't mind a tiny bit slower version but this is sooo cool! Thank you!

I have the Lihit lab book style case. I love that it is lightweight but I wish they would have put elastic slots in their cases. Elastic slots keep colored pencils in place perfectly.

The HOBONICHI!!! I love the layouts but had to give it up when I tried it in 2021 but they changed the paper! The Tomoe River S Paper made by Sanzen is SO GOOD for gel pens now. I use energel and it dries so quickly and I can even highlight it. Even my beloved but very goopy (and recently discontinued) Uniball Signo DX works well on the Sanzen paper! I am a dedicated weeks and cousin user now and I am thrilled!

Ooh, I hadn't realized that the belt seal had a pen loop too! Those month number & script rub-on stickers were super cute - I love rub-on stickers so much, since they're so thin and I think they often have a higher "image resolution" than washi stickers just because of the texture of the washi paper (and probaby bc a lot of my washi stickers are very, very cheap ones😅)

2024 July, finally I have this pen😂. I was dreaming it since 2011 when I see my Japanese Manager used it 😅. Since that, I always seek this pen

I started bullet journaling in college and I no longer find it practical for my needs but I loved doing it. Since I stopped I have been planner hopping a lot and currently really enjoying the hobonichi weeks but specifically with the addition of those companion memo pads that they have. The new Tomoe River S Paper is sooooo much better for the type of pens and implements I like. That being said I do a lot of academic planning and I love MD paper so this more modular kinda system seems like it could be a good fit for that. I wish there were more structured inserts like the TN has because I prefer this size to the TN for academic planning

Can the plastic refill (old) fit into the wooden grip pen?

I love the slim Uni Jetstream. I have the mint green one that you showed, and in other colors. The light touch looks nice, but its is wider than the mint green one, right? If it's wider, then, it will actually be harder to slip in and out of my pen loops.

Love the styling of the multi pen. I wonder how it would perform for a heavy handed writer? Would I not push as hard, similar to how I write wit less force using a fountain pen?
