Chasing CSX’s Executive Train - August 2022 (Pacing, Hornshows, and More)
August 23rd, 2022 - CSXT P001-23, the company executive train made its journey from Chicago, Illinois to Jacksonville, Florida with stops including Memphis, Tennessee and Birmingham, Alabama. I set out to follow the train from Guthrie, Kentucky down to my hometown of McEwen, Tennessee before letting it continue to Memphis and going out for it on its way back to Nashville the next morning. Enjoy some clips from the chase, and some of the pacing shots we took on the way.

Old Power and New Memories: C40-8W leading Q532 and pacing X282 with CN Power
zhlédnutí 128Před 2 lety
On the morning of February 19th, 2022, I got word of a few trains in the Nashville area that would be of interest to me. One of which, being X282-17, a solid autorack train with a CN SD70M-2 and SD75I for power. This train would be tied down in Nashville for a little while due to PTC issues so I waited at my house until my scanner went off with Q532-18 calling clear McEwen, CSXT 7870. Hearing t...

Foreign Power and Fall Colours - Chasing Q535 down the Memphis Subdivision
zhlédnutí 142Před 2 lety
On this cool, late October evening, I set out to find Q534 with 4 of CSX's brand-new YN3 CM44AH locomotives being brought to Nashville after being brought into Memphis by BNSF, coming from the Wabtec facility in Fort Worth, TX however this did not go to plan and I never ended up seeing that train. I did however go to CSX's Bruceton Yard in Bruceton, Tennessee to see what all I could find in the...

zhlédnutí 231Před 3 lety
CSX's Pride in Service locomotive 3194, "Honoring our Law Enforcement" was added to the front of Q126-02 after the original leader broke down. After arriving at Memphis 2 days later, the power was flipped and Q125-05 departed Memphis with 3194 leading again. I made a quick call to the Humphreys County Sheriff's Department and explained the situation. After agreeing to send an officer, every off...

FRIENDLY CROSSINGS. 😊
Awesome catch The guy from Council Bluffs would throw a tantrum fit with trains running in the middle of the street in Tampa. Hope to see more along the way. Have a nice day/night.
Oh 😮😮 that 🙂🙂🙂😔😉🙂🙂🙂🙂🙂😔
Plant city has a world's loudest double diamond ever

wow awesome i love how that looks
first also wow such a awesome video i hope to get video of that sometime myself!
Ur the kid who has been trespassing and have been caught
Love the super low angle in the opening shot, really cool! And that chase scene is one of the best I've seen, very very well done! New SUB, loving the channel!!!
Is that at?!
I mean, it’s pretty rare these days to get any other CSX engine than a GEVO or an AC44CW leading, despite the fact that the CM44AHs are out on the rails.
100th sub 💪
You finally filmed a train at Dry creek road! Nice
Is X282 a new train for the bruceton sub
X282 has been around for years, it only runs as needed
@@aspenwh oh
@@aspenwh so when was the last time it ran

Nice channel trailer! Love the music!
Awesome video!
Great catch bud was that a NB or SB hate I missed this
South
Nice video!
Ever gone to McKenzie
Cool pacing shots
Thank you
Cool shots. Have gotten a few catches at that curve @ 7:32, usually 125 in the mornings.
Seems like it would be a good spot. This is my first time on the Memphis side of Bruceton so I’ll have to come back another time
Long
Excellent! And phenomenal for a last minute get-together photoshoot. Love CSX 3194. I lived in Tennessee (Nashville, Antioch and Smyrna) for 28 years and there is no place more hospitable than small town Tennessee. Maybe with the exception of Smyrna's speed trap fame in the early 80's though they never pinched me in all the years.
Sweet
Nice shot! I hope those police people got happy seeing there Law Enforcement Locomotive by CSXT!
Very nice 👌
I thought those 3 engines are only out of waycross to the south
Why do they always go slow thru McEwen
Did u delete the video on ur other channel about u leaving
Nice catch!
Nice Video Aspen!
Awesome.
V617 got added to ur line. It ends in bruceton for the west Tennessee shortline, so now u got a unit train
Nice to see more UP power on the Bruceton subdivision again!
I remember when I first started railfanning the Bruceton Sub when I was a teenager in the mid 90's, the two intermodal trains were northbound R185, and southbound R186. Then they changed their designations to Q154/Q155 in the late 90's I think, and then they were known as Q125/Q126 in the early 2000's.
Great video
Does Q154 and Q155 still run thru there
Does Bruceton yard have a lot of local ops, because I know it’s a pretty big yard.
Dang I would be glad to get that close to CN lol
Aspen, have u railfanned waverly at all
Cool
Awesome sauce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Great videos as always bud
Why did you walk in front of the camera 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
