Hi! I have a stackable washer and dryer. My dryer likes to eat strings on sweatpants and anything that has a spring attached to it. It will get stuck in the edges of the drum. I was able to pull them out and not have any issues before but this time I did the same thing I always have before but this times after I pulled it out and went to turn the dryer back on it’s making a loud squeaky or squeal sound my dryer still heats and the drum still turns but it’s awfully loud type of noise. What could it be? There was only like a tape material that came off the string so I don’t think it is tape material that’s causing the noise ….if it was a metal tip that caught it in and got stuck when I pulled it out I could see it being stuck in the drum and making the noise but I know it’s only like tape material that came off and the only possible thing that could have got caught in the drum part. I guess my question is it safe to for a few and see if it will work the sound out somehow or if it means that there is something caught inside the drum part? Do I need to remove the whole drum to look? Or is it possible that a seal or something could cause the noise if it is going bad due to the string being stuck a few times now. Sorry if this is confusing I tried to word it as best as possible to explain my whole situation. Because it’s not exactly like the video I’m hoping there is an easy solution to this rather than taking the whole drum off? if it’s a seal or something that went bad because of the string getting stuck multiple times would it make this kind of noise? Thanks in advance for any help

I couldn’t even count the number of times I’ve looked up answers to questions with no answers on CZcams or anywhere online. There are thousands of videos one could make that don’t currently exist. Once I get into mold making I’ll definitely be trying this out.

This was great. I took it all apart by myself except lifting the drum, which two of us couldn't. My friend did the same removal of three screws to take the drum off of the bearing. I was worried the bearing would fall and damage the plastic wire brackets, etc., but it went well. Thank you. In the end, high temperature lubricant on that small movable wheel for the belt stopped the sqealing. The bearing was fine, but looked badly in need of fresh lubricant after 15 years...preventative maintenance then. What a job!

Thank you for a really thorough video. Even though this was for a bearing I had a bad heater and couldn't find a video showing how to get to it. This was perfect for my situation. Was able to get to the heater element and also decided to replace the bearing and belt since everything was open.

i just did my rear struts on my 08 Es 350, does it matter what side strut you put on because i didnt pay attention to the orientation of the new struts even through they bolted in fine, also do it matter which hole you put the two big 19mm bolts back in as i didnt pay attention to what hole they came out of on both side! everything bolted back up fine though

FCS is not good quality at all. I had to replace mine again after only 2 months. KYB is much better and not very expensive.
