Got my S23 Ultra last week and I love it. Have to agree these filters are superb. Both build quality and end photo result are incredible for very little money. I paid only £90 for mine. Couldn't be happier.

the thing is i have two visible green dots on my camera and whenever i put it in a dark place or just in the dark they are still there and it is only for my camera.

I've got the 15 pro, I have pitch black sky, I set it on a tripod and the 30s exposure rolls but the pictures are very noisy and it also has some blue tint and some red tint areas. Having played with the pixel 7 pro before I've gotta say the pixel was miles better, the sky was blue, stars were bright and there was no noise. I'm very disappointed in the camera, even the iphone 8 had less noise in macro photos, or pictures taking of moving subjects (like a cat) in bright sunlight had zero noise. Hopefully Apple will fix the camera with updates, at the moment it's just not what it can be.

Nice demo shayne wish if you could do it slow for us to follow for example the milky way combined with multi exposure is amazing but you gone so fast am sure many not followed the steps wish if you could do more more with easy steps to follow

Just picked up a Pixel , already have the Intervalometer app, what about, instead of stacking for light trails, might a series or Pixel astro photos be used with a Mac app such as Starry Landscape Stacker or Starry Sky Stacker by Ralph Hill, i.e., for a more dynamic static image without trails?

Does the skyflow app work with the milkyway timelapse and what are the settings should be done ??

Good one Shane. So why wouldn’t you do EvenLonger Night mode intervals. With that set of data you can then do: - post process data set if required - stack 20 picture of say the milkyway (haven’t found a iOS app that does that) - feed the data into the star stacker app for star trails or star laps video Basically one data set that can feed various end outcome.

For 1 $20 cable that's supposed to stand out from all the others for someone to pay for it vs buying a "cheaper" cable in bunches, you would think it would do what it advertises. I guess they (whoever they are) there's no such thing as "bad publicity"...isn't there...?

I’ve done a fair bit of daytime cloud timelapses with the standard iPhone timelapse function but I’ve just downloaded this because I want to experiment with some night stuff (planes doing night circuits at local airport/some Astro stuff - anything unusual I can find). Just waiting for a nice night here in NZ (doesn’t happen much this time of the year…).

wait...I bought the Pixel 8 Pro about two months ago, I didn't even know my phone could do this lol. I'm gonna try it tonight. I already have some really cool photo's I've taken but this is next level!!🤩

I think that this technique does not work nowadays. Do you know any applications that can help me do this trick today?

I think Glenn and I were separated at birth - very similar backgrounds, introverted, computer knowledge, astrophotography-oriented, etc. although I haven't delved down the rabbit holes he has. I'm trying to get my website running (format pending) with an array of shots ranging from astro (the half-decent ones at least) to nature and 'atmospheric' shots. Also, Telstra tower is known as Black Mountain tower to those who remember, and besides Parliament House, it's Canberra's defining image. I saw the promo for this video on my other FB account and wanted to get a look at it. I'm more pragmatic in that I'd like to get the name out there first before committing to hardcore investments like printing and stuff, so for me it's website first.

Glenn: you make videos about photography. Please go to a video tutorial and learn how to make decent audio. It kept on fading in and out. That deserves an F!!!

What’s the name of the app ?

We Android have zoomed up to 120x nowadays. Even promode can go above 30x. With a better camera setup we can get the same photo without using the moon mode or AI and it will turn out better in quality. :)

I love my Reeflex Pro camera app so I bought Reelapse for use on my iphone12pm. Tried it out yesterday 4 times for 180s daytime hyperlapse. It overheated the phone each time and stopped at 100s. Also tried the default camera with no problem and no problem with the Insta360 Flow hyperlapse. I won't be trying Reelapse again, at least until the next update. It also doesn't remember the settings so I have to respecify grid, level meter and all settings each use.

I find I get a clear photo when using video and taking the photo through the video for some reason it’s so much easier

I bought one of those Futurista MagSafe battery chargers a couple of years ago after you reviewed them to use for star trails. They would help with the battery drain issue of this app. You would have to use a clamp type phone holder of course though instead of MagSafe one. Just bought this app as it is reasonably priced even if you don’t use it that often and it looks pretty good. Will have to try the Astro Timelapse when away travelling in a few weeks. Another good review, thanks Shayne.
