The "new" one. She has since been sold, and is now sailing as the Azamara Onward.

How was the internet in this cabin? Is the walk from the elevator to the cabin long??
“VOOM” internet was included and fast enough for my son to stream his college classes, and for us to make internet phone calls. The walk is long-and appreciated to walk off all of those calories!

I’m trying to book room 10334 but want to make sure that everyone will still be connected, my sister to her classes, my senior dad to his business calls and e-mails, and well my mom and I to our stuff hehe, as per the walk how long do you say it took you guys to get to the elevator … I want to make sure they’ll be fine with the walk
@@patbiancchi2064 I never really timed it, but it’s truly not that far (maybe 1-3 minutes at normal pace?) to the aft elevators.

Nice looking ship....thanks for the tour of it. Yea, you do need to correct the blurred problem. Maybe switch to a 4K GoPro? Looked like you were using your phone? Either way, thanks for posting. What was your itinerary on this cruise?
Thank you! Actually, I had challenges with my Removu, so I used my iPhone as a backup. Never had a problem converting the files in the past, but using two programs, including AVC, they otherwise clear vids became cloudy. Hopefully, I won't have to resort to the iPhone again, but if I do, I need to figure out a better way to convert those files to use in a video editor. As for the itinerary, we sailed r/t Miami to Nassau and Bimini. Stayed on the ship in Nassau to get the video shots while most passengers got off in port.

The last 2 years of the itinerary was fabulous before the ship was sold. The Maasdam traveled to many ports rarely visited or even never visited before.

Great video Foyagers and delightful music. Can't stand the narrated videos e.g. "these are the stairs going up, here is a bun at the buffet, this is a swimming pool"......Love this ship and her twin the Ocean Princess (now MS Sirena). So different than the other Princess ships (Princess bought them from the investors who sold them when Renaissance Cruises went bankrupt). Nice to see a ship with understated class, dignity, and charm. You can have your water slides, rock climbing, robotic bartenders and such, I will take this ship any day. CLASS: high quality : ELEGANCE. Bigger is not always better. I hope Princess keeps her! Good luck to all who sail on her!

Would have been nice if you took the time to focus on each sign when entering a different venue so we know what were looking at and take a little more time show the whole room not very helpful.

I was on other ship the cruiseline And it was bad...i an been infor that the cruiseline has change alot.
Love this ship - we were just on her for the Renaissance Explorer in December and it was a wonderful experience. I will come back to this video just for the memories! Just one correction - the passenger count should be 688 passengers (lower berths); 826 passengers (all berths).
cllindse, thank you so much for viewing and commenting. We were onboard for the New Year's/Holiday sailing, and had a wonderful time. Thank you, as well, for your correction. The numbers we used were taken directly from the Princess website: (www.princess.com/news/backgrounders_and_fact_sheets/factsheet/Pacific-Princess-Fact-Sheet.html). I do understand that, as R3, she was one of the first five R-ships, which had minisuites (as opposed to the later numbers, which did not). That may account for the discrepancy? We hope that Princess does not soon find a buyer for her, as she offers a unique product to those of us who are fond of the Princess product, but prefer more intimate ships. Happy New Year!
@@foyagers I agree. I started cruising as a teen in the sixties when the ships ranged in size from about 15000 tons to 30000. So this felt really good to be on a ship this size and where it felt like family. I will really miss it if they sell her.
@@foyagers I wonder if they were counting crew beds too or if they used the figure including full capacity with upper berths? - When I go to Princess website, Pacific Princess, it says 670 passengers and 338 cabins.
I started cruising as a child in the sixties, as well. The old Homeric and Amerikanis were my first. Then, in the 80s, we honeymooned on the Dolphin and sailed repeatedly on Seabreeze. We graduated to NCL (Skyward, Seaward, etc) then RCCL (Nordic Prince, Song of Norway, etc.) We remember when NCL acquired the Norway and the Cruise Director (who we knew from the smaller ships) lamented about how on "the big ship" he was more of a manager and didn't have time to get to interact with and know the passengers as he did on the smaller ships. Today, it's about revenue per sailing, and the economy is in scale.

We just had the best weekend ever on the Grand Classica, we also had oceanview and upgraded to concierge at the port, and we found it to be worth every penny. There were just over 300 passengers so not crowded at all. The spa treatments were great, dinners were good, the champagne breakfasts were my favorite. I loved not rushing off of the ship this morning, with the clock change we got an extra hour!! I had watched your video prior to sailing, and when presented with the chance to upgrade I remembered your review and went for it. Thanks!

Yes. They did an excellent job for the price paid. If you go in with the proper expectations, you will be happy.
Is there a bar in the speakeasy cigar lounge? Also where are all the smoking areas? 35% of us(especially in the south) smoke and have money. Surely the cruise lines want our business.
I don't recall a bar per se, but I do remember there being bar wait staff who would take your orders. With the new "Medallion-class" that will even be easier! (www.princess.com/ships-and-experience/ocean-medallion/)
...I think you can smoke in the casino at times ... in general tho non smoking ship ... No bar in the Cigar lounge ... however you could carry your snifter in and enjoy your cigar ...
Are all AquaTheater suites star class? Even the 1 bedroom?
As of the time of our sailing, only the two-bedroom.

Viajei neste lindíssimo e confortabilissimo navio no Ano passado no ver\ao para destinos no Mediterrâneo lindíssimos tudo correu muito bem excepto:depois da habitual recreação\ao no Teatro "fraca animal\ao", todos os bares e lugares de vida nocturna estavam sem Gente, os artistas eram fracos e repetitivos, ninguém dançava era muito triste. Na discoteca tinha sido atacada por etnias que logicamente tocavam suas músicas, excluindo os outros. Pode-se dizer bom para navegar, "comida ao almoço, fraca e repetitiva, as habituais pastas e tomate. Como Cruzeiro com espirito divertido fique sabendo que depois das 20horas é uma tristeza.\N mais Princess Cruise

Done. I like your videos! We love the Prinsendam. Just understand that she attracts and older crowd, very few if any children. More sedate and relaxed experience, no bells/whistles of modern ships. Just great food, service and elegant atmosphere.

Thanks for taking us inside the Freedom, we'll be going in a few weeks. The music to this video could have been better (the electric guitar part hurt the ears- rest of it was nice), and the camera can't pan as fast without being blurry- you do good video content, just update your equipment and you won't have these worries- thanks again for giving us a tour! :)
