My Bibury Pro (Surge like) is my favorite tool.
What a beautiful bike! I love it! 👍😊
Thanks so much!
I use my leatherman surge with bit kits and ratchet driver every day for work love it or if I'm working in the woods or long grass ill have my super tool 300 with me because there's no bits to lose the super tool 300 is also a good multi tool
Awesome!! Its a great tool that you can use everyday - Its built tough!! 👍
A new adventure mobile. How exciting. Hope to see more of it. Cheers, MICHAEL. Rice rider in the wind lol 😅
More to come! Thanks for the comment! 👍
What country are you doing these trips in
I'm in Alberta, Canada 🇨🇦
is that the stock handlebars
They are 👍
I really liked your videos of winter camping. Ice fishing tent Can Am Defender.
Glad you like them!
Ive been searching for reviews demonstrating how to use the grounding point on the power station, how do you use it and what connections or cable fo you use?
Generally this is not needed UNLESS you are using it to power a home or shop electrical circuits. In this scenario the ground is connected to the ground in the consumer panel. However, I'd recommend you consult a licensed electrician before doing this and don't trust a CZcamsr 😄
Looks like a lot of fun!
Sure was!
And all this, time iv’e just been sitting on my arse eating biscuits
lol 😂
I too use my larger power stations to charge the smaller one. Now that redodo and Li time make the mini 12V 100ah lithium batteries I like taking those on my camping and hunting trips to extend the capacity of the smaller power stations and are very inexpensive vs an expansion battery. Great job on the video.
OOhhh - I'll have to check those out! Great idea!
I picked one up today for $60. Glad it was a good purchase.
$60!! Wow thats a good deal!! 👍
i like it
Thanks so much!
I remember doing jig saw puzzles with my grandparents in their travel trailer. I see you had one in the closet 😅
We did!!! And we had a lot of fun putting it together! 😄
Bluetti just makes cool stuff! With the Starlink now it does drain our Bluetti quite quick if the sun is not out 😂 We might have to upgrade the power system and/or convert the Starlink to 12 Volts. Cool hat btw. Michael. Maike and I love the Canadian Flag 🇨🇦🔥
Yea - Starlink can be a power drain sometimes (especially if you don't switch it off at night!!!) It does have a power schedule in the app so you can turn it off automatically incase you forget!! 👍
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors oh yes! Bluetti usually empty when we go to bed so we have to shut it down 😂
Thanks Mike. Good review
Many thanks!! Thanks for watching!
I like my EB3A but this replacement seems to be a better value unit with the additional wattage capacity. I like it too!
Bang for the buck - this is, I think the best deal out there right now!
Thanks for sharing Michael. We just got back from two-weeks off grid camping and used our Bluetti AC70 and PV200 to power our fridge and all the other devices we had with us
That is awesome! I hope you had a great time Mark & Mrs Young! 👍
Good video, thanks for sharing, YAH bless !
Thanks for watching!
I use a CPAP machine also. I'm not sure how you guys are using it, but most people seem to use the AC power supply that comes with the CPAP machine. This is not necessary and somewhat wasteful. Most CPAP machines are 12 volt already, so you will consume a lot less power by buying a 12 volt power cable for the CPAP and connecting it to one of the power station's DC ports. Otherwise, you are generating AC power that is then being converted back to DC by the CPAP's power brick.
Well I never.....If they are 12v DC even better as you say, the losses of DC to AC to DC again as mounting up! I'll check on the DC plug/adaptor! 👍
Good price. Small enough to store about anywhere. When I'm able to get one, that will be the one I get. Thanks for the review
Right on - It seems like the best deal around right now!
I am heartbroken to learn of Si mon’s passing. He was such a sweetie and was so loved and well cared for by you and your wife. He knew that he was loved. I lost my husband this May. Its been very hard. Pets are family and he was so adorable. Cherish all the good times and keep them close to your heart. Simon was so special and will be missed dearly.
Alice I'm genuinely so sorry to hear about your husband - I hope you are coping well the with all the changes that come with losing a partner. I wish you the best of luck and I hope things work out ❤️ - Simon was a good boy and I'm hoping one day to see him again 🥲
Nice elc tool . For a good camping trip . Bless your time in God's country arth 😊
Thanks Arthur! Hope your summer is going well!
I love the bluetti that I won. I just used it this last weekend when I was camping. It’s extremely handy and useful.
Great to hear! 👍
Nice unit good size
I love it 👍
The only reason I ever bought a Signal was because it looked cool as f@ck. The plier head is a dead giveaway that it is not meant for heavier work. Closest to a needle nose that I have seen on a Leatherman. I do however carry it quite alot. The weight is good and if you buy the 3rd party bit holders to replace the sharpener and whistle, it becomes more practical. Using the screw driver with the frame fully open has never bothered me and to be honest , the hammer you suggest that should be trimmed down can come in handy. Wave + probably the best for a sturdy EDC factoring in weight. Super Tool 300 ...... best bang for the buck for a heavy duty multitool.
Thanks for the feedback!! I think I might try a wave as it comes up as an option a lot! 👍
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors Yep no problem .... just for weight comparison: Signal 7.5 oz Wave + 8.5 oz Surge 12.5 Oz Cheers from Yukon Territory
I own one for years. Never carry it, to heavy. Only take it Camping on the Motorcycle
Yup - Thats what I found too 👍
I'm coming from the Surge to the Signal. Had my Surge for years and it was so handy, but i lost it at a campground several months ago. I decided to go with the Signal with a slight bit of hesitation over the lack of scissors. But so far I'm pleased with the Signal due to it being lighter and the clips are really handy for me. If the Signal had scissors it would be complete and if the Surge had a belt clip and a hammer I would have gone with it in a heartbeat. All in all they are great tools and sure do come in handy!
It would be amazing to select the frame and the tool in a custom build process - I think thats the next evolution 👍
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors A truly personalized multi-tool would be incredible!
Lizzy: Dad, how disappointing. I thought you were going to cut……the throat. 🥴
She was so into eating that fish 😄
I’d love to watch you put 1200 pounds on that little table. I’m pretty sure it would buckle.
I think it would do it.....but I would be rolling it around 😄
Nice, it looks like you're ready for a Mad Max situation
LOL 😂
That tank bag is absolutely ridiculous😂
LOL - Thats from my old KTM - I need to get something smaller 😄
Nice. Will it teach you how to do wheelies?
Yes it will - lol 😂
Great straight forward and honest review. May you have many more useful years ... Who needs to spend 3x more on a Dometic.
Exactly 👍
I totally agree that the Surge is too heavy. Bought on thinking it would be a better single choice item but found it way too heavy. I still bring it with me when outdoors but keep it in my carry pack….I might go back to the Wave as that was my favourite wife gift until someone broke into my truck……thanks for another great vid!!
Thanks for the comment! I think I might try a wave too 👍
That looks sweet. Good navigation and hands-free. Nice job MICHAEL.
Thanks 👍
Thank you.
You're welcome!
I've been edc carrying the surge for a couple years now. I just put a pocket clip on it and clip it in my left pocket in my pants. That's if I'm wearing my cargo pants which are pretty heavy like carhartts. If I'm wearing jeans or shorts (like 10 days a year) I carry something smaller, lately that's been a sog flash which is like a skeletool but has a D2 blade which I like and it was cheap off ali express. Before the surge I carried my beloved wave for years, but it fell out of my pocket because I just had it dangling off the pocket of my riding pants after using it for something out riding dirt bikes. Rode away like an idiot with it just dangling there, never saw it again. The surge has an awl that's missing on the wave, which I liked and used a lot, plus the handles were more comfortable than the wave using the pliers. Even before all of that I carried a skeletool for a few years, but I broke the pliers right off just twisting a cotter pin out one day. I bought another one but got sick of how much it hurt my hands squeezing on things with the pliers which I use the most on multitools. At least once a month I crushed the callous on my hand at the base of the index finger when the pliers slip and snap shut, pinching the hand between the protruding back side of the blade, and opposite handle coming together. Blood blister every time. I also forayed into the dark world of Amazon clone wave, and surge multitools. Read all these great reviews about them. Bought them both at the same time and what a disappointment. The wave clone was like $30 and it was worth about $10, all loose and floppy, felt like I could break it with one hand just pushing the knife blade out with the thumb. I returned that one and kept the surge clone because it seemed a little better. I carried it about a week, broke the flat screwdriver, kept using it through the beginning of camping season and organically just revolved back to the surge and now I don't know where the clone is anymore. Good enough to throw in the trunk of the quad or something though.
Great information and something stuff I was curious about. I looked at the clones but i don't think they are worth it. For the price of the real leatherman and the 25 year guarantee - I think I'm happy with the cost (maybe not the ARC - lol). I had the skeletool for a while too and didnt care for it much - so I sold it. I might try the wave next 👍
Really looking forward to your new camping videos wondering were they are
I'm in the middle of packing up my house for a move, so I'm limited to what I can do for camping right now - Sorry about that.
@TheEmporiumOutdoors ok no worries just wanted an update can't wait to see what you have in store when you move!
Although we appreciate these videos, please get back to more camping videos with the dogs
I know - I'm sorry. I'm in the middle of selling my house so I'm kinda stuck not being able to camp right now. I'm trying to make the best of it by producing some "home" content 😞
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors totally understand.
I find the surge a bit big for urban EDC, but when I head outdoors it works well. I don’t like to belt carry for EDC. I find myself using a Gerber Dime and some sort of Swiss Army knife normally a huntsman or alox farmer X. I have the Arc and you can pocket carry it. But don’t know if it’s worth the price. Thanks for the review.
Yea - I came to the same conclusion. I'm not sure if I want to pay the $300 for the ARC but it looks cool!
Thanks Michael - always enjoy your videos - if you’re ever in Maine I’d like to meet up - Thanks Again!
Maybe one day! When I lived in NY state, I visited Maine and it was beautiful 👍
@@TheEmporiumOutdoors I’m serious - you and your family have an open invitation to stay with me and Tammy if you’re back east - please consider it! 😀
The original PST was and still is the best Leatherman in my opinion. Slim and not overloaded with crap you don't need
Good call! 👍
There is a reason the Wave is the most popular Leatherman and it sounds like you have touched all the bases.
Hahaha - I don't have a Wave (yet) 😆
Nice multi tool, however I prefer the SAK’s, for me they offer better quality and are not as clunky, as the leatherman tools….just my preference….
Indeed - When I'm wearing a suit I use my SAK also 😉
Thanks for the review. I would love to have a surge but can't afford it. Can't wait for another atv camp out or ride video. Thanks
Our pleasure! They are not cheap - The ARC is $299 in Canada 😮
