I wish this included the reminder, that when a relationship is meeting so much friction - it's not always an indicator to walk away. Often it's an invitation to go deeper and open our hearts more. We're so quick to give up on each other or run away. Sometimes the self care work means pushing through the uncomfortable *with* your person. To not be so stubborn in thinking you're right all the time. Even though you generally might be - you gotta trust the other person to speak on their own behalf without your judgement/assumption shadowing them, and believe them when they're consistently showing for you! Not just remembering the icky because thats what you focus on. Not everyones out to hurt you with their feedback. We often make it the other person's fault, but we've gotta take responsibility too and communicate better (im stubborn & protective of my heart too too so i do get it 💓 ). While also thinking, "man - for every "cut ties and walk away" moment, there's another human being on the other end, who's heart might be breaking too cos they truly love you so much, & need your grace & patience more than they can share." They show up for you, but your stubborn adamance to be right, keeps making you run away when it gets too real & they're tired of left feeling high & dry too. Yet being with you is a no brainer to them. You mean the world, & sometimes you just gotta open your heart even more to unlock the next level of grace for yourself as well 😞💔🙏🏼❤️ I dont know...maybe someone else needed to hear that.
