I feel like harrys is speaking about zayn (due to his E.D amingst other things making him leave the band) in the first interview and it makes me so sad to think that it impacted him so much and that the action of others impacting zayn so much led to this in the first place because neither of them deserved to go through it they shouldve been supporting each other but reality hit and they split and now publically 1d barely talk i just hope their still good friends in private because losing people that big in your life is bound to hurt

This is gonna be LONG, but I promise it's worth reading :) Guys I feel sooo nostalgic watching these videos I can't even tell you how much :') I used to watch 1D content everyday, now I don't anymore I guess I kinda "grew it out" and they got replaced by other, smaller celebs (like actors in my country) but they still had a very special place in my heart all along for being the first (and well, only) boyband that I was ever a fan of. I only experienced this kind of fandom with them and Directioners, the amount of unconditional love and acceptance I felt from the boys and you all is beyond words. I was only part of the fandom for a couple years, but those were my early teens (still a teen now though haha) and they shaped my personality in a way that I will forever be grateful for. You taught my acceptance, patience, love and friendship. I attended a Louis concert last week (I mostly listen to his music now, not 1D anymore) and because of that videos like this are recommended to me, and I started watching a few of them and I feel like I'm gonna cry. I was in an easy and mostly happy phase of my life during my 1D phase (in middle school) and this reminds me of how much I have gone through since then and how my life is never gonna be like that again, which I guess just comes with growing up. At my age right now, in certain circles, 1D is brought up as the cringe phase of teen girls and as much as I see where they are coming from (after all, they are a boyband of the 2010s and have very mainstream music), I feel so bad when that is brought up because this fandom and the boys have given me so much and I just feel like people don't understand this, but I can't defend myself in fear of being humiliated. I don't really listen to them anymore which was not intentional, it just rather happened that way. I didn't really have time for music in high school next to everything else I have going on both at school and mentally. I just had to get this off of my chest and I'm not sure if I worded everything the right way, if you made it to the end, can you please leave a reply? It would mean a lot to know I'm not alone with these feelings or some advice would help as well :)

Louis and Harry still say they were so lucky to be in the band which otherwise would not have given them the career and money they have. And Harry knew for him to have huge tours in big venues he needed to not label himself. Plus his agent and Sony/Columbia made sure his songs were played on the radio and let him be truly himself. Harry's mother is good friends to with Jeff Azoff and his father and producers of Sony/Colombia. When Harry signed his solo contract, for three albums, Harry called the head person and said I need time to find myself after being in the band and he does not want to write the first album until he us ready. He was told not to worry--to take all the time he needed and he does not have to show the album to them until it is completed ....Harry got very lucky. Those that get contracts with divisions of Sony/Columbia don't get the wonderful treatment Harry got. . . .

That interview with Harry and the hate comments makes me cry every time, and not in a cool way. People can just be so mean for no reason.
