Tokiwa-Fes (常盤祭) 2022 YNU school festival | A look at some of YNU's clubs
YNU held its 22nd annual Tokiwa-Fes (常磐祭), during which the school's various clubs setup booths and you could learn about them and get food. I thought school festivals only happened in junior high and high school so I was pleasantly surprised. I found a bug circle and ended up buying and pinning a mantis! There were fireworks, too.

LIFE IN JAPAN | Productive week until I GOT SICK!

I was having a productive week until I got super sick, which really sucked! :'( The clinic near my dorm wouldn't let me make an appointment because I didn't have a Japanese phone number. I thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room but wasn't sure I'd be able to get someone to come with me and be my interpreter.
