Wintershall CIO was established to bring the story of the Bible to life through epic dramatic open air plays.
We perform the Life of Christ and the Nativity on the beautiful Wintershall estate and the Passion of Jesus in London's Trafalgar Square. Our very popular authentic plays are performed by a cast of 100 in wonderful costumes with live animals, we have delighted audiences of thousands of all ages.

James, the actor who plays Jesus, is accompanied here by some of our young cast. Having children in the Life of Christ play changes the dynamic, just like in real life. This is not just an adult story, but we see how Jesus spoke to all. Children are just as valued as adults. Wintershall welcomes thousands of children to the play each June and the impact this experience can have is huge.

It should have the Resurrection in it. I went to see it twice years ago, it never had the most important part of Easter, the Resurrection of Beloved Jesus Christ.

They forgot to add on the opening speech, the anti Christian attitudes that are prevailing in the UK at this time with Happy Ramadan on at the football grounds and Eid Lights in the West end and No Happy Easter. I was there for this event on Friday and it was an excellent event worth supporting.

I was so blessed and honoured to be part of this Biblical Theatre Production of the Passion of Jesus Christ playing one of the original twelve disciples. Thank you Wintershall. It was great working with James Burke-Dunsmore, and the rest of the cast and crew.

Helena Taylor plays Mary Magdalene, the woman with the red dress. We see her through the story accompanying Jesus. But Her big scene is at the last ten minutes of the play.

It's nice to watch But some passages are not biblically correct and other passages were mixed together didn't occur as in this theater piece. If I may give you an advice. Try to become more precise on the biblical text. Please more biblical passages in the right order, than text that you cannot find in the Bible May God bless you and give you his wisdom. . Shalom

Can't believe I'm saying this, but I agree with you. I'm willing to admit she was good playing the role of Mary Magdalene.
A superb performance of the play. With a great cast of actors and actresses, among them Hellena Taylor, who is known among video gamers for her work as Bayonetta. Her performance as Mary Magdalene was excellent and impressive. Same thing for the actor who played Jesus; he was impeccable. Furthermore, watching this play was a great breath of fresh air from the horrible icestorm that has afflicted my region a few days ago; which put hundreds of thousands of people out of electricity since Wednesday. Though some people got their lines repaired, others still have no power and it is a really horrible moment for many houses and families. Thank you for this great play performance and for brightening the day of many people. I wish you all a Happy Easter. See you next year.
