Ah, the Golden MV! That video used to be so hard for reactors to view due to being blocked. Glad to see you are now able to get it uploaded but I believe Dimash's copyright management company have loosened up a bit rather than blocking everything. Golden is one of his very first full on short film productions. It is chock full of allegorical symbols sprinkled throughout the film. Love Dimash's references to the tyrany of bad guy criminals who take over ruling the people. A dystopian future where the people are fully oppressed and downtroden with only the criminal rich governing and controlling the police and taking all the money from the poor. Dimash is the future Robin Hood and/or rebellious leader of the underground resistance and steals the money back and gives it back to the people (check out his phone transaction that sends the money split equally to everyone). Note the signs on the bus walls on both sides of the passengers are from the book "1984". And finally the people rise up to remove the evil leader and henchment in order to be free to be themselves. There are also fun little nods to Qazakhstan when you see the Kazakh native wearing nomadic clothes with the Steppe Golden Eagle on his arm in the big crowd scene and the big neon sign that says Qazakhstan one of the buildings. 😅 The song itself is Dimash telling everyone that all have value no matter what they look like on the surface. What is important is their heart and soul not their appearance. Many of his songs have lyrics that promote being yourself and having confidence to be anything you wish to be. As he has exemplified in his own actions, you can be anything if you put your mind (and back) to it.

Thank you for your reaction! Dan has said that the last note of this song is the highest note he has sung. Dan and Erik did a song together. Breaking the Silence, and it is fantastic. He also collaborated with Violet Orlandi on Seal’s, Kiss From a Rose, which is beautiful. He also collaborated with Minniva on Disney’s, Beauty and the Beast. Dan is such a gentleman when he collabs with women that he holds back a little and lets them shine as well. You can’t go wrong with anything Dan does.

Hey! You did a pretty good job of that short scream, for just having done two lessons! Keep up the good work! You're not afraid to DO it, and that's a huge part of it. 😀 YES! That non-screechy scream is what I LOVE about Dan's voice. He doesn't screech, and his voice creates WONDERFUL harmonics...not JANGLY ones. That last note is G#-5 (WAY up high in the soprano range). I USED to be able to go there...sigh...almost back there (after two hip surgeries and being able to stand upright again, I'm working hard to get back to my original just-under-6-octaves range). There are very few men who can get even near there. Interestingly, four of the five men in Home Free CAN get there! Adam Rupp (the beatboxer) has the longest range of any of them, and he can hit that note. Tim Foust is the bass, and HE can hit that note. Rob Lundquist is the low tenor and he can hit the note. Austin Brown is the high tenor (though he's turning that role over to Adam Bastien in a few weeks), and he can BELT that note. Adam Chance can go ALMOST there...to G5, and so could Chris Rupp (the originator of the group, who went out on his own in 2016).
