I absolutely adore how this Crosshair episode contrasts the Crosshair episode before this. The last episode was a Clone Wars nostalgia trip for Crosshair. It was all back to clear mission objectives, familiar enemies, and old comrades in arms. This makes Crosshair believe that staying in the Empire was a good thing and that the good old times are still there, just under new management. That episode was almost nothing but exciting non-stop action like in the Clone Wars show but this episode sets a tone of nothing but dread. The pacing is slow and almost any action is but a moment. The bad guys of the episode hardly even matter and are only there to move the plot of the episode. And every single character aside from Mayday are in some degree of cold or distant. Even the mission objective is almost nonsensical and wasteful. The last episode gave everything Crosshair wanted for his troubles while this episode was a wake up call that the Empire is not like the Republic.

The season didn’t play out the way I hoped for Din Djarin, Bo-Katan, and the Dark Saber. I had different expectations, which were not met. I’ll just leave it at that.

I thought I'd see Tech return in season 3, but I was wrong. I really thought he could still be alive. This sucks for me.

It shows that Rex refused, to become part of the empire, and turn against his friends who were part of the Jedi order!

I’ll never watch rebels, the way the characters move is just so gross to me. They’re overly expressive and it’s way more noticeable than in clone wars
