Pagan gods are just great warriors whose exploits in battle became increasingly exaggerated with each new telling until they took on the aspect of deities. I have the deepest respect and gratitude for my pagan ancestors but Christ is Lord and much more fierce than any pagan, quasi god ever claimed to be.
