C'est la que se cachaient les colons après l'indépendance.
Fond-des-Blancs est une section communale située dans le département du Sud d'Haïti dans l'arrondissement d'Aquin. C'est l'une des nombreuses communautés d'Haïtiens polonais, descendants métis de légionnaires polonais qui ont combattu à l'origine avec les Français contre la Révolution haïtienne.
