love these boats. if they would lose the diamond plate all over the place it would improve the look of the boat immensely. it looks very DIY and lacks a quality finish look. there are much better looking options out there for grip on walking surfaces which can be color matched to the boat.

I built my own wireless remote steering on a cheap Endura motor! I haven't figured out how to make it GPS spot lock, though.

After having minn kota trolling motors for nearly 20 years I’ve seen a lot of improvement. The control is not of them. Firstly it needs something on the controller that indicates motor orientation so if my line of sight is blocked I’m not flying blind. Secondly I use the motor to move along slowly casting at fallen timber. If it’s windy I quite often have to make adjustment to the speed or heading as I’m retrieving my lure. Try snd see how you go steering and adjusting the speed without looking at the control. There’s like 20 buttons that all feel the same that are either never or rarely used cluttering the face. Why not have a jog wheel for speed and 2 large buttons to steer either side of the propeller on off button. Have the anchor in a easy spot as well and then get all the other crap away from the control buttons. Now I’m not pausing my retrieve to look down and see the control is backwards. Spin it around then look closely to find the button or inadvertently hit the wrong button. I can easily manoeuvre the boat while I fish and even mid fight without searching for a button. Even a PlayStation controller would be better than trying to control the boat with essentially a crap tv remote control

😊like the boat, like the video. One comment, I’m a US Navy veteran and we were taught the left side of a vessel is Port and the right side is Starboard. When walking towards the front you’re going Forward to the Bow. When moving toward the motor you’re going Aft towards the Stern. I say this because when showing the port and starboard seating you had it different.

The first time this customer tries to land a fish, he'll be doing some modification to the swim platform ladder. Those two Hondas take up 2/3 of the transom, the ladder eats up the last third. The downrigger mounts look to be Scotty. With two Scotty 'riggers mounted, that ladder, and those two Hondas, there is nowhere left to land a fish.

Hate manufacture for being a** hole for adding unnecessary 12v trolling motor as a package. I do notice my 12v motor life lasting more than double with 2 battery.

The ski pylon, being offset and so far back will suck for a real skier. My 2008 20’ same boat is in a much better location! Not like this is a ski boat, but come on! The design of my stern is better than new, for more reasons than this.

What’s the price tag?

This motor pushes me 3.5mph on an intex seahawk 3. Motor is easy to hook up and mount. My only complaint is the battery cables are kinda short. No problems with it yet.

I bought two of these one for front one for rear for jon boat used about five times now no problems

Everyone always complaining about how the price is never mentioned. Sorry fellas, that's the way this works. Wanna know? Call the dealer. Just because they don't mention the price doesn't mean it's crazy expensive. However, boats ARE expensive these days. Either get over it or don't buy a boat.

Nice boat, definitely a lot to talk about. Very distracting when every 3rd word is “um” and “uh”. Drop the word whiskers and recite your speech before hand. Be professional not someone who was put in front of a camera all of a sudden.

One caveat for 12V Minn Kota users - you will get more power and run time with a LiFePO4 battery over a flooded or AGM deep cycle!

This video is completely apples and oranges. 1st is the two are completely different motors brushed versus brushless. 2nd is amp draw with variable speed versus set speed. Just these 2 factor's a lone should make you never view, listen or take advise from salesmen dumbbells. What makes me qualified on this is my understanding of power, back-up systems amp and volt distribution that I had to engineer in multiple places during war time communication battle locations for Generals and other command teams.
