The track 'Nebular' was featured on one of the episodes of the original broadcast version of the TV series 'Cosmos' in 1980.

Tracks 4, 5 and 6 are basically the early version of Zenit, a collaboration with Schiller from the album Sehnsucht (2008).

Good to see Wolfgang Bock decided to come back with new music. His debut lp CYCLES has been in my vinyl library since it came out 44 years ago and still sounds intact, music untouched by time. I wish there were a couple of longer pieces on Mintaka over the 5 - 7 minute range here though it's clearly worth sitting back and spending 41 minutes appreciating fine new music by this epic artist who once worked under guidance of Klaus Schulze, no less (R.I.P.) Last but not least, interesting unreleased bonus tracks on the cd re-issue of CYCLES. For some reason, I could hear a couple of clicks on main title track. A mystery but a great decision on the part of MIG on which another legendary and necessary album from the same era has resurfaced on CD recently - Wolfgang Düren's EYELESS DREAMS. One not to be missed.

it is rare for me to come across an older ElectronicJazzProg fusion album that i had no inkling existed. VISITOR 2035 (Germany: Hansa Int'l, 1978) is one. as an aficionado of the genre, i only needed to hear ½min to realize that this was going to be a great listen. This crew was obviously listening to RTF, but prob also some European prog of the day like idk Camel. I just had to comment when i saw the view count because all good proggies should listen this album. *aloha* 🎧
