• Mehdi Ryan, âgé de 26 ans, est un jeune musicien talentueux. Percussionniste spécialiste de la Derbouka qu'il découvre dès l'âge de cinq ans.
• Depuis, Mehdi Ryan mène sa vie d'artiste dans le but d'exporter son instrument à travers différents horizons musicales. En parallèle à sa vie de musicien de groupe, Mehdi Ryan se présente comme un vrais artiste à part entière. En témoigne son projet novateur qui a pour objectif le
mélange entre la musique orientale/maghrébine et la musique occidentale. Le but étant de créer une fusion musicale par l'intermédiaire de ses différentes percussions.
De part son originalité et son élégance, Mehdi Ryan se démarque. Donner une nouvelle dimension à son art et son instrument est une de ses réussites.
Ainsi, il a eu l'opportunité de proposer ses services aussi bien dans des groupes de musique traditionnelle algérienne, orientale, gnawa que pour des groupes de musique electro, de Bal, de Rock, de Rap, de Hard Métal, ou encore de Jazz.
