I bought this bike in Oct 23. In Australia, this cost $32,490 plus a few upgrades including a stage 1 kit, all up cost me $40,000 AUD..! First service was $512..!! Type of rider = I have always ridden adventure bikes and this is my 1st (and last) HD. Having said all that, it is an incredible experience to ride, there is nothing else like it.. Just so fkn expensive!!!

Nice video! I expect to be buying a 2022 FB 114 in a couple weeks, in that Reef Blue color no less. Buying used is huge, you can save 25-30% if you hunt around. It will be my second bike, the other is a Street Glide Special. The SGS will be for longer rides, the FB for evening/weekend local cruising, around 2,500 mi per year. I am so stoked to get this bike!

Can anyone explain why Harley came with 2 inch digital display? I agree with you its difficult to see. The bike is awesome. However, display sucks! You can't see anything riding on daylight. And the worst of all, it doesn't have a backlight.

The 117 is really a cool engine. I put a cr483 cam and TBR turnout and ran 11.45 @ 116 in the 1/4 mile. 700 lbs of bike and I'm not PeeWee Gleason. Love this beast. Gets a little toasty in summer traffic, but that's my only complaint.

Im not knocking your bike but the dyna is the better one easy to work on less break downs and more comfortable to handle and affordable since they are used.

Just about to hit 2k on mine. The upgraded Akrapovic exhaust and tune really wakes it up. Way more nimble then you would ever expect it too be.

People are always saying that the price is a problem but you get a lot of bike for the money. Ten grand really isn’t that much money in 2024. Get the rr version and flash the ecu you will like it.

My training was, buy bike at night, Honda Scrambler 350, 50 miles from home in March in Pennsylvania. Dark,cold and wet, drove home first ever time on a motorcycle. I guess we were a little tougher then , or crazy. Loved that bike. Still riding 51 years later.

Hello, I am a beginner and I'm currently going through my courses and I was interested in this particular bike. On the bikes we have, Kawasaki z650 I think, if I release the clutch too fast between shifts, the motorcyle kinda struggles but I notice here that you release it very quickly between shifts. How come ? Don't you have to ease the clutch all the way down after shifting ? I love riding very much and I'm interested in learning from experienced riders such as yourself.

As for the gas, you pay 3.5$ per gallon and here the gallon costs 8$. So, to get a perspective analogy, imagine the Fat Boy for you have a cost 200.000$ and the gallon would cost 40$. If it had an inverted front end and dual disk brakes then it would be perfect. And the Sportsters S should have been a little bigger version of this with inverted front end and dual disk with the 1250 engine. The sportsters should have been an updated Roadster.

You should try a KTM SDR 1290/1390, that is the only bike that´s been able to scare me after owning ~25 road and race bikes. It´s fine on open roads but on smaller back roads, it will make you open your eyes and clench your but. The Monster is more fun 95% of the time though.

Just purchased a 2024 Ninja 650 ABS, I got the Black/Grey Color. I picked it up next week as they are going to lower it for me 2 inches, and also do the plate bracket tidy kit in the rear. I am very excited but nervous because I am coming from a Harley Iron 883, and never rode a Sport Bike before, So I am hoping the transition is a very smooth one.

You need to seriously get an Insta 360. These GoPro videos suck. Nobody wants to watch the speedo for 10 minutes! Either have someone film you or switch up your camera.

Buying harley and moan about cost its like you buy porche but you think its expensive for service.. harley is just not for cheap guys... its art. I owe bmw gs 850 brand new and its got much more of everything compare to harley but still love harleys more and I will swap it for fat bob 100%. All this tech on bmw its nothing when u sit on harley with this vibe and rumble and feeling of real motorcycle.

I got a 08 500r. I loce it. 2 grand and got 16k niles on it. Got Delcavic pipes on it. It sounds awesome the way it pops and baffles downshifting. Ive owned a zx10, zx6, even a zx7 but i gotta say I love my 500 but wish the engine was covered more! Best bukes are kawasakis

Went for an 2012 883 to a 2024 vulcan s cafe. Love it!

This bike turns into a different bike at 11k. You just need not to be afraid to wind it out. It's like a 2 cycle up in the top end. I love mine in stock form. I'll get it tuned to get the extra 25 hp out of it.
