Green painters tape sucks. Blue is the way to go. Peel the tape BEFORE the paint dries. People don't realize that step is crucial.

Honestly you still kept that open concept look. Just like another comment said and im pretty sure a few others you just lowered a wall in not add on completely. And i agree heavily that that end result is amazing!

That’s…. not a wall. It’s still open concept but with a framed opening between the rooms. The colors and island change in the kitchen added a sense of openness as well. I love how the frame matches the island, creates continuity…

And here I am just placing my paint tray inside a garbage bag to save paint and money 😂

To paint a straight edge near the ceiling with that extension pole can only work if the ceiling and walls are the same color! No way am I believing you can cut cleanly that far away with no ladder😳😳😳

I feel these types of rooms are designed by beige moms, that put a splash of reaaally desaturated color and claim they are colorful and not a beige mom when in fact they are still compromising their children's development to fit their asthetic, but they can claim they DO have color and aren't completely sad beige

It’s very pretty but I would definitely add some more color like maybe some paintings of balloons or like one of those rugs with all of the roads and stuff on them oh you could get like rainbow glow in the dark stars I have those and there really pretty

I had roommates who always cleaned everything with bleach. But when they cooked, they rarely washed their hands. They would touch raw meat and just wipe their hand on this nasty brown stained towel they would leave out all the time, grab their seasonings with their raw meat hands and keep cooking. Using bleach doesn’t make you a clean cook.
