I have a 1970s 6 lug Your trying to make a 8 lug re-issue Sound like a 1970s 6 lug There not the same drum I have a 8 lug maple 3 ply I hate the sound of them I use my 6 lug 10x 14 for my two Thermal gloss kits I don’t remember what the reasoning is. I asked Romano Cotone of RCI and he explained it to me, but I really don’t remember. I don’t like the eight lug sound compared to the six lug sound. I don’t really understand how you’re trying to do something but it’s two different monsters here.
