its sometimes not importing every subtool, probably a 4.1 bug. hopefully it will be fixed

Can I also use this in 2D??
I tried it but im getting runtime errors when I hit export. I'm using blender 4.1. Too bad this was a lifesaving add on but it's not working for me. I tried renaming the zip file and first folder too as per their instructions but it's not working
I don't know, I am sorry it isn't working for you. I know recently I had some issues with it and literally I think resetting my computer or reinstalling the addon was all it took?
Try reinstalling the addon, but also try pressing the Import button on and off for each time you press GoZ from your subtools in ZBrush
Will this work with zbrush core? I don't have full zbrush but I bought zbrush core (not the free core mini) I hope it works with zbrush core. This would make life so much easier. Thanks for making this video. Also where can I find this add on?

So this basically turns ZBrush into an addon for Blender. This is so powerful, amazing.
Hi everyone, If you are working on a 2D game, you will find the instantiated objects not showing properly. That's because we set the transforms 'x' and 'z' in this tutorial, but for 2D 'flat' games to instantiate the grid prefabs you may want to set 'x' and 'y' instead. In short, this like instead of the one given in the tutorial (please note I used slightly different var names! GameObject go = Instantiate(gridPrefab, new Vector3(leftBottomLoc.x + scale * i, leftBottomLoc.y + scale * j, leftBottomLoc.z ), Quaternion.identity);

Hey, it's not working on my side. When I press Export, instead of a window to zbrush I got an error message saying that zbrush paths is not found. Can you help me ? My blender version is 4.0.2 and my ZBrush is currently the 14 days trial period of 2024

Genuinely bad tutorial. You may as well just have posted the code on github with no description. No testing, no showing new users how to implement the code while brushing off complaints as "outside the scope of the tutorial." Just the messiest editing, showing 9 spheres on screen and expecting others to comprehend what you're talking about because you don't want to bother recording your mouse, jump cuts through edits, jump cuts through Vital steps. Wasted an hour jumping through the video so many times

Very cool! Sorry for the beginner question but did you decimate it within Zbrush before putting the detailed dinosaur in blender? Or did you use the decimate modifier in blender on the high poly? I'm a little confused :)
Yes, decimate before putting in blender. You can use blenders decimate or remesh if it fits your exact need too but it depends on the situation.
