Great documentary but I still think the fighters are underpaid. The fighters leave it all in the ring and the damage is so severe when they leave the sport. There is no medical insurance or retirement in the UFC and there should be as much as the UFC brings in moneywise. Dana is Don King 2.0.

People like to compare boxing revenue. But even in boxing only the main event gets the majority of the revenue. Undercard is severely underpaid.The UFC is an actual company with employees. They have bottom lines. Boxing is standalone per whatever the main event is.

The main point for me was how Dana takes care of his fighters, let pettis use the PI after he left for his mental health, told Nate whatever you need this is your house, tons of donations to struggling fighters going through issues, the 1-million-dollar surprise checks to fighters even after they lose! Dana is a Legend, and the UFC is beyond a great company.

To get payed 70 to 80 % revenue, then every fighter must take a stand together at the same time, only then will they get higher pay, but they 'all' have to be together and make dana change the pay structure.

They should be put on a pension the minute they sign. They should not be 1099 contractors. Thats just a cop out by Dana. Conor took this sport to a different level. And every fighter is now benefitting from that. Fighters don’t realise that social media plays a massive part of what they earn. Plus selling a fight. They need a dedicated social media team plus they need to be trained in public speaking. And I’d say that’s a 50/50 split with training. That’s how important that is.

UFC fighters should fight for their pay. But they also have the title of UFC fighters, they have to utilize that to use it as leverage to grown their brand and be entrepreneurs themselves.
