Nice.. I drilled 8 1/4" holes in the end of my baffles to make them sound a little better. Stock 2013 VN1700 Nomad. I'm definitely ordering these pipes.. they sound better than the cobras.

Thank you for doing a compare and contrast. I just acquired a Nomad 1700 and was debating with myself on whether or not to invest in some Vance and Hines' slip ons. I think I will at some point. A nice full throated sound without being obnoxious just for the sake of being loud.
It made a big difference from the stock, I was totally happy with that decision.

Not sure but I think so, check j&P or dennis kirk, maybe revzilla too. I had a 1500 vulcan before this bike and it had cobra straight pipes, those sounded great.

Are the slip ons the only thing you did or did you have the ecu remapped as well? I ask because there are some guys that say adding the slip ons alone makes the bike pop on deceleration. How is yours acting?
James Sexton I didnt remap and was no popping. I had a meanstreak 1500 before this one though with straight pipe cobras and it popped like hell though.

What did you do with the O2 sensor?
I left it on, those are just slip ons added.

I should've made it a little shorter, stock exhaust till the 2 min mark then the V and H start.
