20240809 Debby Remnants SISE Update 4pm ET
The remnants of Tropical Depression Debby continue to cause massive flooding episodes in Pennsylvania, New York and Vermont this afternoon. Earlier today a tornado warning was issued for Washington, DC along with flash flood warnings. A top 10 tide level was also recorded in Annapolis, Maryland as southerly winds pushed tide levels higher all along the Chesapeake Bay coastline. This update is the final update for Debby for the Sensitive Information Sharing Environment (SISE)

    2023 The Arctic circle is now warming 4 times faster than global average. Ice loss, albedo decline, increased water vapor and reduction in reflective aerosols from burning less coal are the major contributors, No, sea ice has not recovered, it's gotten quite thinner. For news on Greenland, I'd recommend Prof. Jason Box and he has some very educational videos on melting, dark ice and weather patterns.

    Tropical Storm ‘Bonnie’ will actually maintain the same name if it emerges into the Pacific Basin as a tropical storm or even emerges as a tropical depression then regains strength back to a tropical storm or hurricane. So correcting the info in the video, Bonnie will remain Bonnie in the Pacific basin.👍

    I pray that YAHWEH will block hurricane ida with a mighty wall before it makes landfall that will leasen its strength and break it apart so that it will not cause loss of human or animal life.       @@StormCenterInc1 will do. I listened to many others who left me with more questions and more unease. Your clear calm educated delivery is what was needed not more anxiety and drama. I'm so thankful I decided to hunker down and stay home in South Mississippi and that's all the way south Mississippi a couple blocks from the beach. Zeda was much much worse for us. And with all the evacuations from our neighbors the rest of us could help them by staying off the roads. Thank you
