@@exeforus3067 It can happen even with a 300lb tire. This is an an exercise that I never go to failure on, because its not worth the risk. More strength makes tears more likely. It doesn’t prevent someone who isn’t super strong from getting injured because they overdid it while exhausted, and horribly messed up the technique.

@@exeforus3067 its not even the machine lacking safety. Tire flip is just a risky exercise. Tires are big and heavy, even a weak person can flip a 200lb tire, so if something goes wrong it can be catastrophic. There certainly are ways to make it more safe, like by adding in a ratcheting mechanism to catch the tire as a safety.
This is a full body exercise bro and you lift with your legs not your back or biceps.
So just asking, does removing those stack of 10s make a difference to the tire weight?
