This is 10 years old this, although not as old as when i was in the medical branch 73 - 95. Can't really comment what its like now, but being the only medic of a frigate was a great job when i did it, 3 times 😮.

There is a communications officer called Clare in the Royal Navy. She's actually Irish but her family did English papers for her. She doesn't tell anyone she's a Catholic, of course. She goes to Anglican services.

Surprised to see so few views after 9 years. Being a submariner isn't for everyone but it's a tremendous job for those it suits. Of all the specialists aboard a submarine the sonar operaters have both the most challenging and also the most interesting job. Advice from those who know - don't be married or have a long term relationship during your active at sea career - it seldom works out so leave that, and be footloose and fancy free until you go shoreside permanently. When in port and you have shore leave, be professional enough to excercise restraint in your drinking and behavior and you'll have a successful career because of it. NEVER be late aboard!!! And get to like cleaning - everyone has to do that all the time aboard a submarine so go into it with that in mind.

what roles would the marines be doing? I know its nuclear detterent specialisations, but is there any other info as of yet? Its all very exciting haha
@@thetoxicappletta1624 they are moving to a "surgical strike force" and working more with the Navy than doing the whole light role infantry shiz they did in Afghan. Much more boat deployment etc rather than drivers/pilots/mountain leaders. It's much more becoming the "Navy's Defence" than the whole "Elite infantry reg" thing they had going for a while.
It really pisses me off seeing they way most of them wear the Green Lid...The globe and Laurel is meant to be 1/4" from the centre left eye not the back of the skull. In my day they would have been instantly filled in!

Got my test on the 18th can’t wait Wanted to join the armed forces but medical reasons couldn’t, so this was the option after that and after looking into it I really hope I get the job !!

Yes you do mate. Its not as hard as you think bro practice the ones online but be warned the questions are different when you sit them. They are all similar

Blue Spectre you also don’t need a very high score to become a warfare specialist as I didn’t do very well on my test and got offered warfare specialist but just practice a lot and try your hardest when you do you test and you might be offered other jobs that you might be interested in
