I'm trying to decide which one to buy, Iron Heart XHS IB or these Bravestars. I see you have both of them. Do you have any advice?
They both will fade nicely. The Iron Heart fits me better than Brave Star. The Iron heart also have hidden rivets and raised belt loops. But you get a much better price on the Brave Star. Overall you could buy two pairs of Brave Star instead of Iron Heart. It is jeans by the end of the day, and you get great value with Brave Star

@@Qltydenim I don't mind slow faders. Just gonna enjoy this pair as my daily drivers. Ironhearts are my grail pair. Been wanting them for a few years now. Mine should be in this week. The waist on them from the sites measurements would fit me perfectly. How much did yours shrink after a pre soak?

lol. Yes. It’s a little bit of a struggle when wearing them. But the buttons are much better already, but still a little bit hard. But that will loosen up even more after a little time
@@Qltydenim Yeah I know, I have had some strugglss already with some 23oz jeans I own, and they are very soft now after having been worn a while.

@@iansomnium8796 If you have the need to customize choose the SOSO, and I like the color better then Brave Star. Quality wise I think they are pretty similar.

I bought a pair of the 634s-B in 2017. They are awesome jeans. My pair took almost a year to get decent fades.
I think I saw that on Reddit also that someone said the same thing. Did you wear it everyday? And washed them?
@@Qltydenim I wore them pretty hard at work doing sheet metal repairs on airplanes, constantly covered in drill shavings and aluminum dust. I soaked them with some light detergent about once every 2 months. The 634s-B's are still going strong, with some minor tears in the front pocket that I am going to repair before they get worse. In February, I picked up a pair of 634XHS-IB's, 25oz that are still very stiff. Hopefully I can get them softer by the end of summer with medium to heavy use.

Not washing for an extended time leads to premature wear as the dirt chews at the fabric . I never go so long between washes especially when some of my hand dyed sd jeans were $$$ The levis are decent but for $200 strike gold are imo the best buy in selvedge.

Ya solo are nice and I've considered getting a pair of there super heavyweight jeans but idk of I'm up for that challenge 😂.
I have these in the 777 fit.. As you've mentioned, they are definitely tough to button up. I know some places offer a discount on them if you're able to button them all the way up first try lol. I had my 25oz pair for about a year now and they have definitely broken in and very easy to button up. Overall, great fit! They will look amazing overtime.
It was really hard to button them up, but from experience I know that after a few wears they will button up without any problems. I will probably save these for the fading competition next year, not sure yet but it could be
