I don't know dude, 3400 lbs vs 3800 lbs and Z51 gets 30 mpg on the freeway. You have a backseat now and will eat through tires and gas faster with the additional weight and aerodynamic drag? Z51 all the way unless you need a family car.

I did this on a GTO and it never became back dirty during the ranger method. So then i flushed the system by the bleed nut on trans and nothing but nasty fluid released.

Its beautiful... i own a 2017 ice silver camaro i did the black and silver theme on mines and the vehicle just stands out.. i did the smoked side marker/ carbon fiber view mirrors covers /carbon fiber front splitter/ carbon fiber rear spoiler/ carbon fiber side skirts even the side fender emblems mines is blackout it looks insane.. your is super nice as well... not forgetting my wheels is matte black as welll....

Thank you so much for the video!!! I bought a blown ls7 vette and swapped it with a built lq4 that is now super charged. I am currently in arizona now and boy does the cast iron motor love the heat! I have an ls3 in my camaro and it is unbothered. I have an aftermarket aluminum dual fan radiator and put in a lingenfelter 160° thermo, but i am still looking to get the temps down more. I only drive the car on cooler nights, but it still runs hot in the summer. I am debating on trying this before pulling my hair out lol. On a cast iron would you recommend a 50/50 split or the same as an ls9?

The judges at car shows can be very discriminative towards 1980's and 1990's cars, trucks. Especially if those judges are baby boomers. They'll only give trophies to 60's, early 70's muscle cars, 2000's, 2010's, 2020's mustangs, corvettes and hot rods. They give themselves and their members trophies. Therefore, I won't take my 1992 OBS Ford f150 to any car show that charges me $20-$30+ to enter unless it's free. I go to cruise-ins which don't have trophies and are all free.

why did you get a catch can with a breather? the pcv is a closed loop. Any codes for vacuum leak?

I mean, for its price it just did its job. All looks like normal use fatigue. Obviosly there are small things that could be done better but what it`s give for that price its still pretty good.

standard maintenance of this for hydraulic clutch fluid is usually every 20K miles or 6 mos whichever goes 1st (depending how much u drive monthly) & so on…all to prevent wear and tear of your slave and master cylinder

Honestly? considering this thing ORIGINALLY wasn't even meant to be used with DD wheels I am surprised it held up this long with such a powerful wheel. will probably last even longer with something like a 8NM fanatec csl dd

Vette Lights are amazing, I bought both these fog lights and the GTR Carbide C8 style headlights. Got color matching everything and they knocked it out of the park 1000% recommend Vette Lights.

A little tip don’t use 50/50 water coolant use a 70 percent water 30 percent coolant and water wetter gives about 3-4 degrees above zero freeze protection which is good enough for most

you need to put the steering wheel sticker on the carbon fiber dash piece you have. should fit and looks great!!

I've had mine for three years now. Hundreds of hours of racing done on it (easily +1000hours). So far no issues. Very small cracks are starting to form on the backrest of the seat tho. But no issues with bolts or threads like you explain on the video. Also you need to use the square washers in EVERY spot you can, this will eliminate bending the metal 100% in my experience. I think the bolts and nuts they send with the rig are good quality, not the cheapest stuff you get from a hardware store. I have upgraded from thrustmaster TS-XW to moza r16 a month ago, hopefully it will hold up as well as it has so far.

I was supposed to take my Rumble Bee to WAM this weekend but lost a strut 🥺 taking me 2023 GT Challenger instead. Shes a black hemi orange edition so shell be unique but cant compete with all the heavily moded scats and cats. I dont want to change that classic look. Debated adding the Cuda gills but she looks like a classic throwback. I picked my GT because it reminded me of my Dad who id lost a few months before. Even debated having a picture of him under the hood.

The most disappointing car show's are those sponsored by the good old boys local "car clubs". They are also the judges, and guaranteed they will give the trophies to their own members every time. We do not go to any such show's anymore!

I know you don’t have this car anymore, but there’s an additional step; disconnecting both oil lines. Another 1.5 quarts comes out doing this!! We needed almost the entire 12 qt box of Mobil 1 to get the dipstick just below the full line checking the level to GM spec!
