@@ernieg Apollo x heritage edition the computer is Mac Pro. I think I had too many things open on the computer, once I closed everything out everything seem to work fine. I hope that was the issue though lol.

Shit l bought a $2,000 macbook pro and Cubase 12 (my daw of choice) would not load up on it...took it back and got a $600 HP pavilion and it's running like clockwork

@@ernieg One thing about Universal Audio, they will replace that unit within 2 weeks!!! I spilled water on my X4 onetime and it wouldn't turn on, they answered all my calls and emails and within 2 weeks I had a new one!!!

@@ernieg there are contacts behind the knob that acts as an “encoder” as it has been described to me. They get dirty fairly easily on certain types of knobs. There are little finger looking things that need to be cleaned VERY carefully too. I doubt I’m explaining it we’ll be lit if you took it apart it might make more sense. My dad was the one who really knew what everything did and he showed me how to fix them. He used to get old amplifiers that “didn’t work” and this was one of the major problems.
