I can relate to this song! Love these guys, thanks!
Täyttä kultaa edelleen.
WOAAAHHH... i saw MELROSE in 1987 (or 88?) supporting the Godfathers in Leicester,UK,, ABSOLUTELY incredible, blew the Godfathers away-and they were at the TOP of their game also.. To this day,one of the best 'unknown' (to me at the time) bands i ever saw..
🎶🌞👍💕🥀
Had to google this as I have just seen 'the Undertones' say that it is the best cover version ever of Teenage Kicks...
Fantastic guys! 👌
HYVÄ bändi / HYVÄ biisi!!!
As good live as the studio version.
La locura ♥
markku tykkä ihan pirusti
Tää on 31 vuotta ollu mun suosikkibiisi!
Seems like Kill City Dragons ripped this off since this is two years before they released it in 89. What's the story?
Melrose released the song in 1987 and it's on their second album Another Piece of Cace. In the album the song is credited to Wyrd Things, arr. Tokela & J.Sumen. Little digging and found info that Wyrd Thing band really made that song, but never recorded it.
veepee68 OK, I think I got it now. KCD had this credited to their bassist, Dave Tregunna, which is why I was confused. So apparently, there is member overlap between Wyrd Things and Hanoi Rocks, which explains the KCD connection. Very confusing!
Wyrd Things was: Nasty Suicide, Dave Tregunna, Terry Chimes, James Vain and Cliff 'Skeats' Gravelle. There is a connection to both bands.
@@veepee68 Yeah and Andy McCoy was also in Hanoi Rocks, Cherry Bombz, Shooting Galley -- all with KCD overlap. Funny how that works. :)
Dave Tregunna and Nasty Suicide wrote the song and used to play it while in Wyrd Things but never recorded it. Melrose, who have no connection to anyone recorded the song first however after watching Wyrd Things rehearse the song. So, in a way, they kinda stole it. When Kill City Dragons formed, Dave Tregunna brought that song in with him, which they recorded. Nasty formed a band called Shooting Gallery with Dave Tregunna and Andy McCoy (Hanoi Rocks) who recorded the song, although that recording is VERY different. Nasty then later formed Cheap and Nasty and again brought the song in there, which they also recorded a version of.. Hanoi Rocks never played this song..
Upea aloitus #Barn Party minifestarille.
Only the best. Miss you Lincoln God bless.
