Thank you for this video . I have been dealing with this for 2 years. I'm diabetic and was misdiagnosed with haemangioma and have had 4 surgeries and a skin graft. There's been a little improvement but new lesions forming. I manage it myself now with dressings. It has left my leg badly scarred. I trust and believe God is going to heal me totally. God bless

Can surgery help correct it
Would we place the patient on naproxen and steroid therapy at the same time? or should we start with naproxen and add in steroid therapy later if inflammation not resolving? Thank you.
Hi! Thanks for the question. First line therapy in acute gout flare is either NSAID, steroid or colchicine. All of these are equally effective, but limited in the context of your patient by potential for side effects and their comorbidities. Very rarely would you add steroids on top of NSAID, it's usually a situation of either one or the other
