Tatiana Groshkova 1987 Floor Exercise Training
Tatiana Groshkova's 1989-1992 floor routine is iconic in the sport of gymnastics; however, her floor routine as a junior to' Concerto de Aranjuez' may be even more beautiful. Here is Tanya training it at Moscow Dynamo in 1987 with coach Elvira Saadi.

I miss Elfi
💙💛❤️
I love how she sticks the dismount and acts almost unimpressed. Like just another day doing the same perfect routine. Very impressive! That Soviet team in 1992 was amazing on beam! Any one of them could have made that beam final and medal!
Does anyone know this song ?
Wonderful, Beautiful !
"she never gives up" such a meaningless comment no one on elite level is even close to giving up, they focusing on perfection and if it does not happen so be it. There be a WM next year but to miss in the Olympics hurt cause it is 4 years to the next one.
Was Gutsu distracted by an intimidating Miller on the floor?
Percy Lloyd Song Personality, Olga n Nelli.
Beautiful, stunning floor exercises from one & only Nellie Kim!
💐👍💖👏👐
Amazing
Everyone has the day, she had 2 Olympic Team Goldand 2 other Golds from Munich. And Team Gold in Montreal.
Ludmilla Tourischeva and Kathy Johnson. It's just not done like they did it anymore. What a shame.
I really miss the artistry in artistic gymnastics
What a cool dismount! Olga was completely unique, her moves were so fluid, unbelievable talent. Glad she went out with the silver here. ❤
Yes she got burned on this. Imagine If Fan Ye had made it to the Olympics - she would have won the gold here. She was just amazing.
I am so late but if she came around for the next quad, she would have been amazing. Could have easily dropped bars, she was so good in all the other events. Also for those who haven't, listen to her TSL interview. She spoke about her elite experience there.
Has anyone else noticed how drab Olga looks here in Montreal? Nelly Kim and another Russian gymast were wearing something that looked like very new uniforms, while Olga wore something plain red. I guess the Soviet Gov't wasn't supporting her that much like the others.
Holy crap!
I think she was robbed.
So balletic back then. Shows us the true orgins of gymnastic. ❤
This wms gymnast and current Olympics Gold Champion Jade Carey o🎉ne of the grestest AA gymnast in the world today.😊🎉
High score for that landing, but maybe judges took everything else into consideration.
Even with the two wobbles and the step on the dismount I felt like this routine deserved at least a 9.700
what an eye-catching dismount!

Imagine if she had been working off the vault table over the horse.
I loved Svetlana! She was not only so elegant, but she put the Woman back into Women's Gymnastics!
Best of the best!!!
She’s an inspiration for Minnesotans at Minneapolis/Saint Paul
For all of her technical perfection and immaculate presentation, I always found Kim's performances lacked that extra magical something! When I think of the all great Russian female gymnasts of the 1970's, Kim is not even in my top 20.
She was one of if not my favourite gymnast but each to his own. One interesting thing Nelli said that her sister was more talented than Nelli but did not have the perseverance to put in the vast amounts of time and training to be a top flight Olympic competitor.
Each to their own, she’s my favourite gymnast full stop
Teodora made backward walkovers look effortless and playful.
The difference between Lysenko and Yang Bo was they both had huge pressure from the coaches. More than normal but Yang Bo was always nervous. Tatianna was asked why beam was her favourite and the translation was …..Because it obeys me. lol. That amazing
Crazy she never got to a major competition.
Anyone who tried this after her never landed. Rule changes made them try feet then butt I still call a fall
Lot better than 1976 Comaneci!
I really don't know why she always had to wave her arms around so manically and excessively! Personally I did not particularly like her gymnastics.
I am really not a fan of her choreography. More is not always more. She takes excessive arm movements to the next level and the lack of rhythm changes, where every part of the routine is staccato, is not aesthetically pleasant, especially on the balance beam!
Excelente!! 🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺🇷🇺
The girl with the most difficult routine on beam. That dismount would be golden even today.
It was more dancing then tumbling.. i like it
I love love love her! I just don't get why, she was always over shadowed by Nadia. For me Teodora was the better gymnast and had so many unique moves in her routines. Life really can be unfair!
Tatiana is my all-time favorite gymnast. She's the best ever. ❤
