Gochujang Beef Jerky
Craving a snack that is savoury, sweet & spicy all at the same time? This homemade beef jerky recipe uses Kisoondo Strawberry Gochujang for an explosion of flavour you will remember!
🍓Kisoondo Strawberry Gochujang 🍓 is made by mixing Kisoondo's Traditional Gochujang + Fresh Korean Strawberries! The gochujang brings a spicy, funky, salty & deeply savoury taste. While the strawberries add a touch of sweetness - to round out that spice!
Made with only natural ingredients without any preservatives, additives, refined sugar or MSG, it is simply perfect for K-BBQ meat marinades (in this case beef jerky 😋), for basting freshly-grilled seafood or oven-roasted vegetables.
For the beef, we used grass-fed beef flank for its bold flavour, but sirloin, eyeround, or rump work too.
Ready to make your own jerky? Here’s how:
✅ Marinate: Overnight in a sweet & spicy marinade (recipe in reel).
✅ Dehydrate: 4-5 hours at 74°C for chewy, bendy perfection. ⏰
✅ Oven option: No dehydrator? Preheat oven to 75-80°C, prop open your oven with a wooden spoon and bake for 3-5 hours, flipping & rotating hourly.
✅ Enjoy: Chewy, protein-packed jerky perfect for on-the-go, pre-workout, or anytime cravings!
