Was such a fun concert. I remember, I was only 20 at the time, I rarely traveled out of my town, and my sister got me tickets as a present. She took me to Portland since she had some band she was going to see. I was so nervous. Waited outside in a line and felt so out of place, also seemed weird how little people were there. Finally we started going through and I noticed they were IDing people and I got scared, I was thinking like " Oh god they must require you to be 21 cause of bear or something" Well... Turns out my sister dropped me off at the completely wrong place, some bar she had been to in the past for bands. I still remember the cold sweat I had while freezing my ass off in October weather in Portland. The guy IDing looked at me so odd and said " Sorry dude you got to be 21" I all nervous was just like " Oh ok" and walked away. I remember calling my mom or other sister to see if they wanted to pick me up, since I didn't know if my sister was already at the concert and didn't want to make her leave. She did come as soon as she heard, and was so apologetic. I finally arrive at the right place, was so packed. The only place I ever have been with a lot of people in the same room was when I was in school and in the gymnasium for some school event. I remember getting up there and didn't what to do at first. I eventually settled in near the bar area. Went through Hamerfall, and then Sabaton came on. I swear waiting for them to come on was the worse. Once they started singing though I really got into it and nervousness went away. Had so much fun there. I remember, a fair amount of dads were there with their 4-year old's or so on. The kids just not even caring and playing away on the dads phone or tablet. I remember being by a dad and his daughter when the dad said " Look it's your favorite song, the night witches" and the girl got all excited for it. I also remember on the second floor, there was what looked to be a son, and his parents or grandparents. They looked 60-70 or so. But the kid looked like he may have been a bit of a loner or so. Nothing wrong with it, but I just got the idea he wanted someone to go with or so. But the parents were hardcore having fun. I remember the old lady swinging her hands and having fun while the old man was kind of just nodding his head. Was such a great time. I truly had so much fun there. Like it's unexplainable to anyone who hasn't been there. But the band singing really loud mixed with the crowed going crazy singing along. Any apprehension or nervousness was gone. Singing along, cause I knew for a fact no one would be able to hear my awful singing.

I had never of heard of them before. I was there for Sabaton. Not only was it my first heavy metal concert, but also my first concert ever. I've been trying to remember the opening act for Sabaton. I tried recording on my phone, but it was a cheap smartphone and all sound was so distorted and couldn't understand anything. Glad I finally found it.

All the music that night was so fine, almost overwhelming. It's great that you recorded these performances, so it's easy for people to hear and watch, even if they weren't there. And for people who were in the audience that night, it's nice to see parts that they might have missed, due to seating locations, etc. Thanks!

Our concert in may 2022 was shiftet to may 2023 (Cologne) - I can't wait anymore, it's cruel
