It's valuable because you can only make it in ladder, so when the season ends you can trade it in non ladder for a much higher price (same as Mosaic and Metamorphosis). You could do well without Cure runeword on your merc, but it is REALLY confortable with it cause you don't have to worry about curses and poison at all.

@@kushpaladin For D2R, there is not much difference between ladder and nonladder at this moment... especially when Blizzard does not update new contents for ladders for 3 seasons. You can make many ladder RWs in D2 LoD, you can find Griffons or CoA, you can enjoy Terror Zones, and for the last 3 seasons, you already brought enough Mosaics, Hustles and Cures into non-Ladder, so for me, I basically can enjoy everything in non-ladder 😅
