I tried the barbecue chicken recipe and my family absolutely loves it. It is so hard for me to find the right recipe where it doesn't dry out the chicken and this definitely was not the case. I love any recipe that requires minimal effort. 😂

I didnt know there was birria sauce in a jar!! Gonna have to get some of that! When I was about 11, I went to Ensenada with my best friend's family and ate some birria street tacos back then and LOVED them. (at the time I thought they were saying beer-de-ah - because they were rolling the Rs.)

Good, easy recipes to try. Thanks for sharing them. I will try the air fryer potatoes. I roast them in oven a lot but will do air fryer. Be glad you were not in Mississippi yesterday or today (6/24, 6/25). I live in Mississippi and we are under an heat advisory for both days.. heat index 106 6/24. Since you are from Mississippi I’m sure you remember the sweltering summer heat. Ha. Enjoy your channel!

Those recipes all look like keepers! I grew up on casseroles. My mom was always stretching our meat with pasta, rice, potatoes and beans. She made a similar recipe to the taco skillet, she called it Ranchero. She added a can of kidney beans. She served it homemade cornbread.

I don't like ranch seasoning but if your son likes it I will give it a try, I don't like any kind of garlic near potatoes so I will season mine the way we all like them salt and pepper,my mama said as long as you have salt and pepper you don't need anything else 😊

What pasta would you recommend in place of tortellini. I don't like cheese filled pastas. I actually can't stand any pasta that's filled with anything that's not ground beef. I don't want to make my own, like I do with ravioli. Ravioli is easy, I don't think tortellini is going to be easy. Thank you for sharing.

Hey Sammi I have commented several times before and I kinda feel like I know you. I have asked for prayer and feel like I have received it. I have an auto--immune disease that is not deadly but makes life challenging. I feel lucky because I can do most of the things. I need and want to do as. long I take my time and be patient You are an extraordinary lady with all the things you do and I'm sure your family is very proud of you. Thank you so much for this my dad who usually does a lot of the cooking and who me and my husband and our daughter live with is going to get permanent dentures so he’s going through a major surgery and won’t be able to eat solid foods for long time so I will be in complete control of all meals for me and my husband and our daughter and I will definitely try a few of these recipes I love the crockpot haven’t cooked in it in a long time but it’s nice to have 😂❤

Hello Sammi! I hope you enjoyed your vacation! I'm going to try a few of these recipes. Looking delicious! I can suggest a little different spin on that first recipe of chicken and potatoes: 1. Put your cubed potatoes in the bottom of your slow cooker, season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Your choice to peel potatoes or not. 2. Layer your cubed raw chicken over the potatoes. Season with a little salt, pepper, paprika. Go easy on the salt here. 3. Pour half bottle of Buffalo Wild Wings Parmesan Garlic Sauce over the chicken. Do NOT add any liquid. 4. Cook on low until your potatoes are fork tender. 5. Stir chicken and potatoes in slow cooker, then top with a cup of shredded mozzarella. 6. Put lid back on, and let cheese melt. Serve it up! 😃
