All those beautiful melodic and chordal anticipations are wonderful Joe. This entire take is magical ! Superb !!
Don’t remember hearing that one before. Nice selection and playing.
Great job Joe!
So effortless (obviously I know it’s not!) 👏👏👏
Keep on working &what gauge string you use &thanks for sharing with me
Hi - I use Daddario Chromes 13 through 56 with a Daddario 80 on the 7th string. Thanks for listening!
Elegant and spare . Wonderfully interpreted .🌹

Very nice.
Yep, this one made me smile also.
Very nice Joe 😊
Your exceptional touch, tone, harmonic sophistication & feel are all alive here so beautifully Joe. I continue to dig what the reverb adds. Superb music !!
Magnífica interpretación una vez más Joe, enhorabuena desde Madrid y gracias, like 10
excellent as usual thank's a lot
What is the 7th string for? The bass line? Never saw an ibanez archtop with seven strings ..
Hi there. Yes it's for extra bass - turned to A an octave below the 5th string. It's fun!
Heartfelt
Beautiful ! Thanks for sharing
Terrific. Really enjoyed listening
Very nice
So smooth
So cool my friend, I listened to this on Sunday afternoon with my ☕so relaxing!! Great playing & sound as always!! Cheers!.
I just discovered your channel. Really beautiful music, great tone and interpretation! I have a curiosity about you guitar setup, how do you manage to have such a tone on the low E? Thanks!
Thank you so much and I'm really glad you're enjoying my music! The low E is a low A because it's a 7 string. I have to work quite hard with EQ etc because the bass can be a bit strong as a result! But when the balance is right the Ibanez AF207 makes a great sound.
@@joefieldsolojazzguitar thanks for replying! I love your playing and the sound of the guitar is great. 👍
Nice and smooth, tone A1..... what model is that Ibanez ???
Thanks! It's an AF207 - great guitar
Just excellent 😊
Superb!!👍👍
This is so clean and beautiful. You amaze me every time, Joe!
Where have you been!?!? Incredible touch and tone.
Marvellous, as ever!
Nice playing 👍🎵🎸
I've re-listened several times and must say Bravo Joe. I love how you are switching registers with the melody and the gentle rhythmic pulse. The reverb is once again adding a lovely sheen and accompaniment. You have a tremendously elegant musical soul. Most Excellent my friend !!
Thank you once again John. Your deep listening is hugely appreciated!
Bravo!
Beautiful playing, as always!
Love this! 👍👍👏👏
Very good!
Thank you! Sublime
Hi Joe - I love the sound and feeling here. The reverb supports things quite nicely. Wonderful low register chordal punctuations. This one is a special one from you and that is saying something as each of your posts is superb !!
Thank you once again John. Yes reverb sure does help when leaving space for things. This tune almost plays itself I find!
Gorgeous!
This is my most favorite jazz standard of all time, especially the Sarah Vaughan version. You do this song extreme justice my friend. I'm serious when I ask, "Is there an album in the works?" Have a good Sunday.
Thank you! It's a beautiful song isn't it. An album, now there's a thought! Could be my next project.
Gorgeous sound, great feel, beautiful interpretation of the tune...Wow! Thank you, subscribed🙏🏽
Thank you! Much appreciated and so glad you enjoyed it.
That took the edge right off, wonderful
